More progress, I remove the reCaptcha and it works! BUT with reCaptcha I can see the "spam":true in the header response. I just checked with my reCaptcha account in Google and all seems in order. The keys supplied are all correct in Contact Form 7, so I cannot understand why the “spam” header reply.

The captcha seems to work OK on the page as it shows all the food images (making me hungry!). But I notice two issues:

    1. If I do not complete reCaptcha but submit all the same, I get the “spam” like (orange box) message saying "Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method." No mention in the message that captcha was not completed.

    2. If I do complete captcha, the failed message on the page is the same.

Both messages contain "spam":true in their response header.

    What am I missing?

Hi Jason, thanks for the reply! Postman is working well but the log does not have an entry to show any problem with CF7. I have cleared the low two days agon when I started trying to debug and so far the log shows emails sent as part of Wordfence (logins by Admin) and Successful Backup messages by UpdraftPlus.

Funny thing is I have found a “spam” message failure in inspect in the Network tab. I have made sure CF7 contains the right GMAIL account details for sending per various other posts. Yet the problem persists and it is shown as spam issue in Inspect (and the message has the orange border per your documentation).

This seems so simple to set up (and you have done a great job with Postman, I have used on many other occasions) but I cannot seem to crack it and not sure where to look next.

Here’s the response header from inspect.

    {"mailSent":false,"into":"#wpcf7-f5329-p5331-o1","captcha":null,"message":"Failed to send your message. Please try later or contact the administrator by another method.","spam":true}

    Thanks for the help!

Hi guys how weird… it is called “Simple Share Buttons Adder” and not “Remover” ??

This must be a silly oversight on their part! Plugin seems good apart from this.

Have you found the answer since your post? I cannot seem to find it.

    Thanks!

Hi Zed, can you help please? I seem to be very close to achieving the result after a few hours invested and Sam’s good help.

    Many thanks!

Hi Sam, it seems I am still stuck on why the page locks two columns side by side and not drop every column below each other like the home page. It seems I am missing some more CSS pointing to the colmn ids (column1, column2, etc…) I cannot seem to see this CSS with inspect element on the home page. Not sure if you can see this missing CSS. It is pretty close now, so THANK YOU for all the help!

Hi Sam, thanks again! as you can see from the Marketing page (https://networkfx.com.au/marketing/) I am kind of close, as it formats allright in the browser, but when you shrink the browser or view on iPhone the columns do not re-align top to bottom, but rather it keeps two columns side by side so it shrinks the text and images… I am getting close though, thanks to your help!

    Many thanks!!

    Hi Sam,
I “hacked in” the stylesheet so I think I am on my way. Thanks for the suggestion although still not quite working…

    Hi Sam,
Nice photo! Wish I was fishing right now too! Thanks for the reply. You are right, PHP is new to me, JS and HTML / CSS I can work around!

So if I understand what you said, essentially I need to add a reference to the stylesheet in my page? If so, where do I find the reference to the stylesheet so I can see how it is called in (as in which folder it comes from)? I have looked at header.php (in wp-content/themes/parabola) but I cannot find the line of code you point out above…

I am very grateful for you taking the time to spoon feed this newbie!
