Issue still unsolved.

Something you did on that update broke the link that sends us back to the user list. It would be appreciated if someone can look into it. I provided enough information to allow for the error to be replicated by any party interested on fixing the bug.

I am unable to do it myself.

I am sorry but it sounds too complicated. I thought I could just report the bug like I did, and that perhaps someone else would have seen the issue by now, or could replicate. I’ll keep investigating. I can’t disable plugins on my site as it’s not a testing environment and I don’t want to generate a massive problem for myself while trying to fix a simple bug.

I guess other people would have commented on this topic if they were facing the same issue. I am not advanced enough to do all that testing. Sorry. ??

Wow! Thank you so much! I didn’t know! It was the paypal address. I have accounts I created so I can track income from ads and mail using the plugin, therefore I didn’t bother adding their paypal email because there won’t be payouts. ??

I upgraded to your pro version after the issue and I am using the queue system (so I also don’t overwhelm my mail server).

As it uses a different strategy it might solve my specific problem, but I believe the problem will still show up for other users using the free version.

Also, is there a specific url that I need to curl to run your pro queue if I turn wp-cron off again? For some reason your sue_cron_send_queue_emails hook isn’t being included when I call it on my server’s crontab (I usually call wp-cron.php using curl, phpeing it internally didn’t work either, so I might need to call your cron job specifically somehow or something needs to be fixed for your hook to be included somehow; sorry for being a bit inexperienced, I kind of learn the essentials as I go ??).

The Send to a Group functionality is also broken with PHP 8. ??

Any chance we can get this plugin working again? If not, is there any other that does the same thing and allow us to email our subscribers (per role) natively without having to share their information or pay for a mailing service?

It’s been a few months but nobody seems to be looking into it ??

I’ll figure out a way to load it manually on a delay with javascript, no worries (can’t afford fancy hosting, so I have to be wise about the resources I load or Google penalizes me for low performance LOL).

Hi! I have the same problem. Backups worked until July 24th of 2019, then I can only receive backups if I use the “Create DB Backup Now” Button.

Also, we can’t use multiple email addresses with a separator in the address.

I use Minimal Analytics Inlined, since it gives me a way better score and it’s more than enough for most pages.

I am sorry! I forgot I posted about it before (notice that nobody cared to reply in a month, but after this mistake of mine someone actually read and bothered to call my attention, interesting priorities here)!

I did search it many times, not only in the plugins search but Google as well, I don’t need to change the front end, I need to change the back end to make it easy to manage comments on my end. All “solutions” are designed to change the front end, add features, make everything heavier and slower.

I already use wpDiscuz and it’s doing an OK job on the front end. I need to keep things simple, lightweight and free (can’t afford anything premium right now, sadly).

I don’t want to host my comments on a separate platform, I prefer to own my data and have my website run faster with less iframes, thank you. I have friends who can’t move their forum from a certain platform because the host just won’t let them have their data, so they are stuck paying a monthly fee or have to start from scratch losing 10 years of posts, thousands of users etc.

How can we submit suggestions towards WordPress’ future updates? The back end surely needs an overhaul.

It would be also useful to be able to see the entire thread on that screen, because it’s very frequent that I find myself without knowing the context of the conversation, which forces me to go back and forth to the page itself to see the entire discussion, being that a considerable time waster.
