did you find a solution to this? i am wondering if this is related to
either of the following:
upgrading to wordpress 3.6 from 3.4.x
upgrading jetpack.
either way, it broke my Windows Live Writer and my IFTTT and I am very upset.
I keep seeing posts saying it can be related to xmlrpc.php, perhaps my host is blocking it….
I also see posts about xml-rpc being enabled by default….
I also see posts about maintenance mode….
I can’t find a solution as of yet, since i have no .maintenance file in my root. my .htaccess file has not been changed. So I am a bit clueless for now. If I do find something, I will post it here. Hopefully if you do, you post here as well and we can get through this.
I also reached out to my webhost to see if they got anything on their end they can look at.
