  • How do you do that query? Myphpadmin won’t work for me on Yahoo!

    (MySQL noob)

All right, for those on Yahoo! i did something that worked for me.

    1. Do everything that the instructions say.
    2. Delete the wp-config.php file off of your server (make sure you have a backup on your computer somewhere)
    3. Run the upgrade script
    4. When you get the WordPress error message, click the link at the end of the sentence (the last thing you can click, I’m not sure what it says exactly)
    5. Enter your correct information.
    6. Have fun!
    7. If you still get some errors, download your newly configured wp-config file and compare it to your old, make the necessary changes to your old wp-config.php file and upload it, overwriting the existing one.

I hope that works for you!

    I’m having the same issue.

I’m on the Yahoo! Small business server too. Would there be some issue with our database not connecting to the new installation?

Yahoo! support is useless on this matter – they’re blaming it on WordPress and recommend automatically upgrading, which Yahoo! rarely, if ever does.
