I’m having trouble setting up multisite.

I have 4 pages
theurbansniper
joeynewcombe
supportstance
fearless904

which are all full sites, I would like to just be able to log into one of the above sites and then switch aroung within.

My issue is adding the sites, I can’t “park” a page because all of the sites are already up and running with WP installed.

I have, it is how I was successfully able to set up a child them. My child 404 page and functions work so I know it is set up correctly it’s just when trying to control pages it doesn’t seem to work.

The basic root question is how do I make my child theme control the theme?

If I copy the contents from home/index.php to child/index.php and remove a line of code I’m not seeing a change. If I make the same change in the home location I see it happen.

Yes! That was half of the issue.

Now the image fills up the alloted space however I would like the link list (the right side of the slide show) to be the same size as my right sidebar.

Thanks, I ‘ve made a child theme so I should be good with the header.

As for the slide show width. All images are over 1000px wide and the slide show compresses them down to roughly 400px

I’ve resolved my header width by adjusting a line in the function.php but this will not stick through a theme update, will it?

Still trying to figure out slideshow width.

I did resolve the avatar issue.

I’m not using the pro version though I will be switching too it once I see I can get everything set up how I invision it.

I just put the CSS in the bottom the stylesheet, I removed it once I saw it had no effect.

No change, I think most of this theme is built on functions rather than CSS.

Switched themes, issues resolved. Thanks again!

Thanks Guys, I will look for a better theme but I’m sure Firebug will be benifical none the less.

Are there any good sites with GOOD search functions for themes? Realistically I’d like a “full screen” theme with 2 columns though that statement is somewhat of an oximoron in the wp world.

I just noticed that with this in place it leads me to a 404 page but leaves the url in the browser, if i add www. to my url it then redirects and removes the www.

To clarify:
www.domain.com/blog/tag/bob redirects to domain.com/tag/bob

domain.com/blog/tag/bob redirects to 404 page.
