I tested all the contact forms now and none of them work properly. Perhaps it is an issued with the Intrace theme?
It is a shame because these contact forms look great on the site and I know it is going to be a problem to get anything similar using a standard contact form plugin.
Hide after submit is off.
At the moment I am using the first contact form in the Gutenverse library. The one at the top left of the sections/contact screen.
I think there is something missing from some of these contact forms so it may be worth checking and reviewing them?
I will test a few more and see if I can find one that works.
Thanks. I am now using the Gutenverse submit button but it still doesn’t work.
I thought that by using a contact form from the Gutenverse Library that this would work automatically?
I am now using another contact form from the library. This works in so far as it sends the message. I receive the confirmation email and the message sent through the contact form. However after pressing the submit button, there is no thank you message and the form disappears leaving just the heading at the top.
I may have to resort to a plain normal contact form as this is the only think preventing the site from going live at the moment.
Thanks. I didn’t realise that the menu block was not the Gutenverse one! I can not hide the menu on mobile and use my plugin.
I did try the Gutenverse mobile menu but it looks a bit too big and blocky. I altered the size etc but it still seemed to large. Also I could not see the menu items. When clicking the hamberger icon, the menu slides out from the right but it is just a big white space. I know the links are there because I can click on them even though I cannot see them. And yes the menu does now close on click. Thanks for doing that.
Thanks for the info. For some reason that does not work for me. I don’t get the menu on the right hand side that shows the “display on mobile” option. The only thing I get is an option to show the overlay menu. I can turn that off but then when on mobile the page shows the normal menu, which just about fits on the screen and works but this doesn’t feel right for viewing on mobile.
Perhaps it is the browser I am using (Firefox). I will try again using Chrome.
The plugin I am using for the mobile menu is called “Mobile Menu” and it is by Freshlight Lab.
I have managed to get the blocks to work on mobile, tablet and desktop by some juggling about with their positions. However the function to hide these blocks on tablet still does not work.
If you view your own demo site on an iPad that has the 10.2 inch screen you will see how the blocks do not respond properly to the screen size.
As for the mobile menu issue and how it does not automatically close on selection of a link. Given that mobile makes up for well over 50% of the website viewing these days, all menus should work for that platform without needing to resort to another plugin.
It is still a great theme though. It just took longer than expected to get it working the way I needed it to. Thanks for all your efforts and support.
Have you checked your theme on mobile devices? As mentioned before, it does not display responsively on the iPad 10.2″ and as that is an extremly popular tablet the theme should work correctly on that device. At the moment the three icon boxes for address, telephone and email at the top are messed up. Also setting these to “hidden” does not work.
It is a great theme but I think it still needs work. As it is I cannot use this for a live site ??
The problem is that the mobile menu works but it doesn’t close when you select a link.
I have removed it for now and I am using the Mobile Menu addon instead which puts the mobile menu at the top of the page on the left and does auto close when a link is clicked.
Only now there is another problem. The icons in the header for address, have any question and send your mail are messed up on tablet. For example on the iPad 10.2″ they are bunched up and overwriting each other. And even though I have set visibility to off for tablet, they still appear.
I have rebuilt the site using the Gutenverse template but the mobile menu still does not work properly. It is the same problem as before. The rest of the site is fine. Just need to get this menu working now.
Ahh ok that is the problem then. I had already built the site before installing the default template. I assume that I will have to rebuild it from the beginning in order for it to be responsive and for the mobile menu to work?
Yes the temp url is https://rabbittreestudio.com/diamond/
The site looks good on the desktop but the menu issue means I cannot yet use it as a live site under its own domain. You will also notice some quite serious responsive issues?
Thanks
Any update on this menu issue? I have the same problem. On mobile it is unusable because on for instance the iPhone XS and later, the menu covers the whole screen and doesn’t close when a menu item is clicked. I can’t see the website unless I manually close the menu myself.

In reply to: How to give a blog page it’s own menu? It’s the standard menu.
In any case, I have now found out that you cannot have a separate menu for a blog page. So I have reverted to a multi-page site rather than a single page. It is not as elegant but it does the job.
Thanks. That is a useful plugin. I was not aware of it before.
Still got the problem though. Although most of the errors have gone I still get a server 500 error.

I have the same issue and have been trying everything I can think of to sort it out. It is the first time I have ever seen this with Duplicator.
