Yep, that’s what happened with me.

I had high hopes for this plugin. Same thing happened in mobile — items were squeezed then disappeared…and it screwed up my layout.

Looks terrible in my favorite theme, Vantage by SiteOrigin. Pass.

I fixed the comment tag, but no change. It seems to do this only with outside links. Weird.

Typical bait & switch. I think this now useless plugin should be removed from the WordPress Repository.

Sounds like a bit of bait and switch to me. I think I’ll just search for another converter.

Unfortunately, no change. It’s really weird — this doesn’t happen to links within the site, only to the outside link. Like I said, never seen this before with Vantage.

Go to https://helpmendyourbrokenheart.com/, then click the link to Go Forward Life Coaching. Close that new window/tab, then look at the Go Forward link on the helpmendyourbrokenheart.com. It’s the default turquoise blue. Never had this happen before with any of my Vantage sites.

Doh! I should have thought of that. Thanks so much, Andrew! Adding that to my Vantage notes…just in case I forget. Works perfectly. Another reason why I love using Vantage.

I realize this rather unfair one star rating is over a year old, but in case someone stumbles upon it, I’d like to add a point in the plugin’s defense.

Personally, I’m glad I only have to provide a Twitter ID — this makes it convenient for those of us developing WordPress sites for CLIENTS. I don’t have to log into the client’s Twitter account in order to obtain an API key, nor do I have to give instructions to a semi computer-illiterate client who doesn’t want to give me access to their Twitter account login.

Honestly, the user couldn’t have just taken one star off the rating for this trivial kvetch? Jeez.

Yeah, except the feeds are still not working. Searching for another Twitter feed plugin…

The free version looks very nice IMHO. No complaints here, and I think I speak for most of the other users.

Even if you can only change the button and link colors, giving the plugin one star is extremely harsh. If the plugin were broken and the developer wouldn’t help, that would be one thing. Jeez.
