In reply to: [Page scroll to id] Awful!Uh…I tried “Easy Smooth Scroll Links” and it not only killed my favorite testimonials plugin, but it TOTALLY screwed up my carefully tweaked CSS (scratching my head over that…).
Anyone chancing on this review, please ignore SamirahM’s endorsement of Easy Smooth Scroll Links and stick with Page Scroll to ID. Oh, and I’m on a Linux server. Works quite well.

In reply to: [Page scroll to id] Doesn't workIt worked for me, too. Took me all of thirty seconds (mainly because I already had my anchors set up and linked in the menu). Shame to give this plugin only one star because you couldn’t figure out how to use it properly.

In reply to: [Responsive Menu - Create Mobile-Friendly Menu] MisleadingThe free version has pretty much everything you need. No complaints here.

In reply to: [Vantage] Not a free themeI’ve gladly paid $15 for each Vantage Premium install because I KNOW what I’m getting: a nearly bug-free, bare bones theme that I can mold into any look that I want. And another great bonus: Vantage rarely conflicts with the array of plugins that I routinely use. Added to that SiteOrigin’s excellent support — they’ve managed to answer every query that I’ve had (and some questions have already been addressed).
Anyway, I’ve paid three times that amount for themes on Themeforest riddled with bugs and developers who take forever to respond to support requests. You take your chances with many of those themes. Like I said, with Vantage I always know what I’m getting for my fifteen bucks and this theme has saved my butt so many times.
Oh, and PageBuilder is my favorite WYSIWYG drag ‘n drop editor.

In reply to: [WP Instagram Widget] not working as it saysActually, this plugin works nicely in any sidebar width by simply adding this snippet to the Custom CSS in your WP Dashboard:
ul.instagram-pics li img {
max-width: 150px !important;
height: auto !important;
}Adjusting the max-width as needed. It’s simple enough for any code novice.

In reply to: [sr-scroll-to-top-wp] Very smooth scrollerI forgot to add that I’m so impressed with this plugin that I’ve been replacing other third-party scrollers with this one.

In reply to: Update to 4.1.1 not working?I’m going to chime in (and this is, as @kay9 said, relevant to the issue and doesn’t need another thread). One site that I’m working on would not update to 4.1.1, so I tried @taurus1016’s solution. It worked! Yay!. Just be sure to enter your own login details and place the code above this line:
/* That’s all, stop editing! Happy blogging. */Then, delete that code after the update. Thanks, @taurus1016!

In reply to: [Vantage] Almost bought. Glad I didn't.I really don’t understand the gripes. The premium version only costs minimum $15 (my clients have purchased more expensive themes that were a PITA). I’ve used the premium version several times, a bargain as far as I’m concerned. Steep learning curve? If you understand CSS you can do a lot with this theme. I’ve also used other sliders (Layer Slider and Revolution Slider) with this theme, both are accepted. Also, the support from SiteOrigin is excellent. I’ve also used numerous free and paid plugins with this theme and never a conflict.
I enjoy using this theme so much that I’m promoting it at one of my sites (https://myrostrum.com) as one of the featured themes.

In reply to: [Facebook All] Error message when clicking FB login buttonI don’t even see WHERE you can change the URL in the app settings. I have https://talkinggrid.com/ set as the URL, but I’m getting this authorization error. Suggesting that I repeat the steps I initially performed is not a sufficient answer. I’m thinking that what MerriSedal mentioned is the actual problem, so I’m thinking this plugin is not going to work no matter what I do.
I’m having the same issue with the Facebook icon. When clicked, no login screen pops up. I followed your instructions for obtaining the Facebook app ID and inputted it into the Social Login portion of your plugin dashboard. At least I’m no longer getting the “need login ID” message, so SOMETHING is sorta working.
The site is https://talkinggrid.com. Please help! Most of the visitors to this site prefer to login with their Facebook accounts in order to comment.

In reply to: [Logo Slider] Not responsive at allI’ve used this plugin on numerous sites and this plugin is VERY responsive. It might even be an issue with your theme and not the plugin.

In reply to: [Vantage] Great, versatile theme!*I* just finished… So much for proofreading my post.
I know it can be annoying, but actually, that’s a good thing. It shows the author is trying to avoid jQuery conflicts with other functions and plugins.
