Yani… this is not a hosting issue in my view. Because this problem is occurring on localhost instances also – where the upload limit is over 2GB – well over any file size I’m uploading.

Also, I’ve explained my procedure on a previous post on this very thread. Based on that step-by-step and this problem occurring on localhost, do you still claim that this is a uploading a file issue?

Hope for some assistance – if possible.

Still not working like it used to:

The procedures that I tried are the following:

1. RESTORE BACKUP

1. Generated a backup file
2. Tried to restore the backup instance
3. RESULT: Got this message: “Restore” functionality is available in a paid extension. You could also download the backup and then use “Import from file”.

…so I downloaded the backup instance and tried to use the Import option like the message suggested – as described below…

2. IMPORT BACKUP FILE

1. Generated a backup file
2. Downloaded the backup file
3. Used the import option in the plugin
4. RESULT: Stuck at 100% for more than 1 hour

Obs.: The backup file is 230MB and my hosting service allows me to upload up to 500MB files.

Can’t get it to fix.
Loved this plugin but this bug/new restriction are very annoying.

Sorry to hear that and thanks for your comment. I’ve experienced some quarks with the new update, specially regarding styling the CSS with the Theme Builder option, but still, in my opinion, the Elementor plug-in is the reason I’ve switched to WordPress. Hope they fix theses issues.
