Because you advised me to FTp. Don’t really know how that works but that’s OK I agree with you I don’t need ftp after all! Hooray!

I apologize for my ‘A lot of help you are!’ It was just an expression of my utter frustration with my own self! Plz forgive!

For some reason I have not been able to FTP anything other than my Bluehost sites. But I’m not working with bluehost. I’m working with www.ads-software.com & XAMPP and I have not been able to make the ftp work.

It’s a matter of the pass word. No matter what I do in my wordpress installation nor even how all works good but I make an error when I need to correct it & FTP the original site I can’t come up with the right password.

I think I have created about three or four databases for wordpress installation and though that I record each log in info I can’t make anything work. I’m resigned to let it be until I learn by the different posts in your forum and other forums. My project is a learning project so it is not a big deal. Just my learning curve.

In the other hand I learn by doing so I followed your advise & activated twentythirteen and now all is well. Thanks for your help.

If I could get to my Appearance or to my dashboard for that matter I would have taken care of the problem. Perhaps I was not clear about my request.

I messed around with the php files and now I cannot get to my admin. I posted those two links because I was hoping that someone would click on those links to see the problem, but, evidently it did not work.

I am not that smart but I am not that stupid either to know that I can only get to the admin myself! I’ll figure it out myself. Maybe I just trash the whole deal! A lot of help you are!
