After I set up API and RSS Feed, Facebook Dashboard loaded around 20 articles.

Formatting was ok, but accents and another special characters broke.

Then I tried to update old permalinks in WordPress dashboard just to achieve 50 articles. But every single post I updated in WordPress was sent to Facebook without content. The same case of you, raulw.

My server is running PHP version 5.5.30 and MySQL version 5.5.48.

I’m very frustrated, but I also understand that bugs are expected now that Instant Articles become open for everybody. The plugin developer is doing a great job trying to help people stuck with issues like us.

After doing some research, I think the problem could be related to <meta charset> but I’m not sure of this

I know Instant Articles are set to use utf-8 by default. When I tried to change it on Facebook Dashboard to ISO-8859-1, it gives me an error related to charset.

What I can’t understand is why my blog already uses utf-8 and accents are fine, but on dashboard they got broken.

Try making another app on Facebook Devs Platform. It should solve your problem.

I also have doubts about using RSS because I’ve already set up my API using the plugin. But nothing appeared on my dashboard (neither production nor development tabs).

I don’t know if is better to leave rss empty, if I have to fill it (what I already did) or if it doesn’t make any difference once I set up the API.

My currently WordPress version is 4.3.3

Also, with the new fatal error I can’t even load the plugin page. If I try, it gives me the same message.

Ok, I just updated WordPress to 4.5 and now everything seems fine. Sorry for being so noob :p

Btw, I made another Facebook app and tried to auth this new one with Facebook Login button in the plugin page.

It worked, but when I choose my fanpage in the next screen, got a new error:

Fatal error: Call to undefined function wp_parse_url() in /home/bit/public_html/wp-content/plugins/fb-instant-articles/settings/class-instant-articles-settings.php on line 141

Got the same problem here.

Domain URL claimed, I’m administrator for the app – which I’ve already used to another plugin – and login with Facebook doesn’t work.
