The ‘External Links’ function is purpose Redirect to another URL, not handle any task with the course (enroll, buy the course, v.v…). So if you want to user can learn courses you need to create an order manually by steps below:
1. Go to LearnPress \ Orders then click button ‘Add New’
2. Add Customer who you want to learn
3. Add item (courses) which course user can learn
4. Set status to ‘Completed’

You can use ‘External Links’ for the case, you want to the user when click buys course button or enroll button, will be redirected to form information, the user will fill the information and submit to send mail, you check mail and add manually if you want.
