    Hello @cmowery

Removing the header itself could cause display issues, so we wouldn’t recommend that. But you have made a great suggestion for a potential new feature, so thanks! ??

With regards to the IE issue I’ve gone ahead and added this to the bug report and this will be fixed in the next update of Consulting. There is an update coming out later today, so it will be in the update after this.

Thanks again for taking the time to share the bug report! ??

    Hello @grisjok

Firstly, sorry for delay in getting back to you.

Consulting uses the native WordPress menus feature, so you can create a menu using the drag and drop interface. This gives much more control over your menu structures than the parent / child option.

To create a custom menu go to Appearance -> Menus in your admin area and create a new menu. Add the pages you want to show in the menu, and drag them to where you want. You can drag a page to right to create a submenu.

Once you’ve create the menu assign it to the “Main Header Menu” and your good to go!

I hope this helps. Any issues please do let me know.

    Kind regards.

    Hello @stableic

There isn’t an option to change the text itself, but we can certainly looking into adding one! Thanks for the great suggestion. ??

Please can you confirm, are you wanting to change the text to another language, or just other words in English?

I’ll await your reply to best assist further.

    Kind regards.

    Hello @zackmorris1977

You’re correct, the message is due to no blog posts on your site. If you’d like to prevent the message from showing please assign a static homepage. If you jsut want to hide the message, you can assign a blank page.

To do this first create a page from the Pages section. Once yo’ve done this go to Settings -> Reading and assign a static homepage. Select the page you created, and the content from that page will then show on the homepage (leave it empty to display nothing).

    Hope that helps! ??

    Hello,

Thank you all for your feedback. At present the slider is only designed to show on the homepage, however absolutely we can look at adding an option to enable the slider on all pages in a future update.

    @venussolutions

Absolutely you can remove the slider, to do this please go to the customizer select Theme Options -> Homepage. Navigate down the slider section and simple press the disable button. I hope this helps.
Thank you again for the feedback!

    Hello @dvdnbl2543

Following on from the above. Certainly you can create a static image instead of a slider. If you would like support with using any of the theme features please do let us know. We’re always on hand to help.

    Kind regards.

    Hello @mjflower

Thanks for confirming, rest assured that the issue is not with the theme. The issue is that you unfortunately didn’t keep the theme updated regularly, so missed our on a number of important updates. The theme version you’re using (v1.1.0) was released on October 31st 2014. It is extremely outdated as such if you attempt your update from that version to the latest you will miss out on the intermediary steps needed for the migration from the old to new version.

The version you are using is extremely outdated and we recommend you update asap. You are also missing out on a number of features which improve the overall functionality of the theme, and other essential updates (such as SEO and speed improvements).

If you like we can assist you with the migration from the version you’re using the the latest version. If you’d like us to do this please reach out to us at https://www.thinkupthemes.com/contact with contact details. Do not send contact details in this public forum.

Keeping your theme updated is very important, if not only for security benefits.

    Kind regards.

    Hello @axispinnacle and @mjflower

Sorry to hear about your experience. The issue you’re experiencing though would not be caused by Minamaze. It sounds very like the theme has either been customized without the use of a child theme, or there is a conflict of some nature on your site preventing the theme from working correctly.

All of our themes are fully reviewed prior to release, and issues were not identified. In addition, many 10’s of thousands of users user Minamaze and have not experienced this issue either.

We are of course on hand to help. If you would like to continue to use Minamaze and would like us to help diagnose and resolve this issue we are on hand to help. In this case please do feel free to reach out to use here or over at https://www.thinkupthemes.com/contact.

If you like we can of course arrange a live support call to discuss and resolve this issue.

    Kind regards.

    Hello digitaleffex,

Certainly this sounds like an issue which you need to resolve. Whether this resolves the issue with the theme is not known. It’s impossible to tell without debugging.

Please speak to your host and have theme correct the PHP version difference issue. Once that’s resolved if you still continue to experience issues with Sento we’ll be happy to take a deeper look at your site to get this resolved.

    Kind regards.

    Hello digitaleffex,

The issue is not one that can be replicated on our end, neither has it been reported by other users of any of our themes. It suggests there is something specific to your site causing this issue as opposed to the theme itself having an issue.

You can confirm that the theme works by heading over to the theme page and hitting the “preview” button:

    https://www.ads-software.com/themes/sento/

Please can you confirm, which version of WordPress are you using and which version of PHP?

Additionally, please ensure you’ve tested for plugin conflicts to rule this out as a potential issue.

    Kind regards.

    Hello digitaleffex,

Sorry to hear you’re experiencing issues. It sounds like the theme didn’t fully update and the stylesheet is corrupt. Please can you download a fresh copy of Sento and install it. You’ll need to this via FTP as the error will not allow access to your admin area.

If you’re not comfortable doing this we’ll be happy to do this for you. In this case please reach out to us at https://www.thinkupthemes.com/contact and provide FTP login details to your site. Please do not send any login details over this public forum.

Alternatively you can reach out to your host who should be able to access your sites files and delete the theme allowing you to reinstall a fresh copy.

    Kind regards.

    Hello Slawo,

The issue you’re experiencing is not caused by the theme. However if you like we can of course see if this is an issue we can help with. If you’d still like support please can you provide us with more information about exactly what happened to cause the loss of data.

    Kind regards.

    Hello zoelise,

If you’re finding that the changes save but only show in the customizer then this is cache issue. Please check for cache plugins or contact your webhost.

If you’re finding that the customizer doesn’t save then it’s either a plugin conflict or a browser extension conflict. Please deactivate all plugins and check if you still have the issue. If this still doesn’t work, please check for a browser extension conflict. The easiest way to do this is to switch to another browser for testing. We recommend either switching to Google Chrome or Firefox (choose the one you’re not currently using if you’re already using one of these).

If neither of the above work then please let us know, in which case please add a link to your website.
