I just figured out how to add Admin posts.
This is a very helpful plugin!Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [Ultimate Category Excluder] Category Excluder Stopped working on MobileI sincerely appreciate your time and help Marios!
I will follow your suggestion and see what happens. Hopefully I can determine which plugin/setting is causing the sudden-onset issue with the Category Excluder.

On the User Agent Groups there is nothing enabled. Should there be?

In reply to: [Ultimate Category Excluder] Category Excluder Stopped working on MobileSorry, I don’t know how to find the cache admin page of /wp-admin/admin.php?page=w3tc_mobile – would that be on BlueHost (our web hosting provider) or somewhere accessible from the WordPress dashboard?
I am certain that when I added the W3 Total Cache plugin (several months ago), I just activated it and didn’t modify any of the settings.
Before I received your message above, I deactivated the W3 Total Cache plugin, then posted two test posts to the excluded category, and both those posts showed up immediately on my iPhone. So it definitely seems that the W3 Total Cache plugin is the culprit.

In reply to: [Ultimate Category Excluder] Category Excluder Stopped working on MobileHi Marios –
Our theme (Olsen) is mobile-friendly (as built in to the theme), but we do not have any plugins for mobile detection of any kind.
I can keep uninstalling and reinstalling the Category Excluder, and when I do that, the posts show up on mobile and Mac, but I really am hoping I don’t have to uninstall/reinstall each time there is a post.
I just don’t understand why the Category Excluder was working on all devices, and then suddenly stopped working on mobile and Mac.
I know that on my iPhone and iPad, I have not updated the IOS at all this month, so I don’t think that is the issue.
Do you think this could be some kind of a cache issue?

In reply to: [WP-Polls] Quick help needed – Poll only allowed 1 voteStill testing this –
I had someone go to the poll. She saw the results of the 1 vote, then saw the Vote button beneath the results. She clicked on the Vote button, then the actual poll of choices appeared in place of the results, then she voted and clicked the Vote button to register the vote.
Is this the normal way the poll is supposed to work?
I would much rather NOT have the results displayed initially. Instead, the poll options should be there with the Vote button, and then IF someone wanted to see the results, they could choose to click the View Results button.
Am I missing a setting of some kind to display the poll first – NOT the results?
Thanks for your help rdellconsulting – I sincerely appreciate your time.
I actually need the right sidebar on all the other pages, so couldn’t remove the widgets from there.
I played around with all the customizing options again today, and figured out the problem, and have resolved this issue. It was a matter of all the settings, and by changing them one by one, I isolated the issue.
Again, I really appreciate your offer of help – thank you!
Cheers!
