Hi,

I’m back with a possible solution or workaround, really.
Basically these featured pictures show no problem when they are 640 X 426 or 640 X 427.
I have had to alter the ratio for the latest featured image (Dove fare colazione? Te lo dice la televisione) and that’s the only way to make it work.
Again, I hoped this process would be smoother or more ‘automated’, but at least my pics all look fine on the homepage now.

I followed all of your steps but unfortunately it hasn’t worked. I may use that trick in the future, though.

Just forgot. There is actually still a thin black stripe at the bottom of picture number two (desktop view).
Any very specific size guidelines would be highly appreciated? Thanks!

I have picked a different type of picture for Maternità:… and things look way better although for mobile view, I can spy a super thin black stripe on the right side of the first image (for Maternità etc…).
I have checked the specs and they only advise “a maximum of 712 width on the blog”, stating nothing about the height; which doesn’t explain why my other two pictures were cut off that much.
I get it that the aspect ratio must be the same for every featured image, although I was hoping this wouldn’t be an issue and things would need a little less twitching on my part.
