Looks like it is jetpack that conflicts with it.
The plugin search ONLY works if I rename the folder. If I leave the plugin installed but disable it from the dashboard, it still causes the search to not work.
Today WF crashed all of my sites where it is installed. The routine of disable, wipe tables, re-enable, reset options, is getting old…
Using wf assistant and clearing out all tables, all live traffic data, all blocked IPs brings the site back. For awhile. I have done this before. It will die again in short order.
For some reason, today, removing .htaccess does not solve the problem. But disabling wordfence makes the site load again.
There are no errors in the server log.
I enabled debugging but no debug log is created.
I look at the source of the (blank) web page and it is entirely empty.
If I remove .htaccess it also works with wordfence enabled.- This reply was modified 8 years, 1 month ago by tholius.
Now I rebuilt my site and restored it from updraft, and it is working again with the latest word fence. Confused.

In reply to: [IP2Location Country Blocker] 2.5 brokenI just rebuilt my site completely from the ground up and it still breaks (although it did fix a different issue)
6.2 and 6.2.2 cause my site to display a blank page. Had to remove it to get the site back up.

In reply to: [iQ Block Country] Does not block most foreign IPsI know it hasn’t banned it, because Wordfence reported that it locked it out after typing the wrong password. So your plugin does not appear to work. Today I had more than 500 bad password attempts from foreign countries. IQ blocked NONE of them.
Is there some log you want to see? I’d love for this to actually work.

In reply to: [iQ Block Country] Does not block most foreign IPsAnother more than 500 hacking attempts today, almost all from .ru, I sampled a few and the plugin knows they are from russia. It has blocked a whopping 22.

In reply to: [iQ Block Country] Does not block most foreign IPsBecause today it has blocked two visitors while I have had more than 500 from Russia and China attempt to use the login form. Wordfence shows the IPs, when I type them into IQ, it identifies them as Russian Federation, but it does not block them.

In reply to: [iQ Block Country] Does not block most foreign IPsI have all countries except the USA blocked. The IP addresses that are coming in are identified by the plugin as being from Russia and China. They are not being blocked. Just today I have had more than 500 hacking attempts on the site, blocked by word fence, as they got to the login page and tried to log in. IQ says:
Overall statistics since start0 visitors blocked from the backend.
12 visitors blocked from the frontend.
