I am so sorry, The disconnect from your language and mine is too much for me to overcome. I will be looking for another booking calendar. I do not understand any of the instructions you gave me above.

I did not insert any code I added the calendar using a widget. So I had no options other than “Add” your next statement “or like this” Are you telling me to do it like that or are you asking me if I did it like that?

Your next statement does not help either. You say,

Not sure what you are trying to say when you say “It is means” Define the booking form for the booking resource. I only have ONE booking calendar on this site and when I dropped the “Booking Calendar” widget in that spot on the page it had only one choice so Not sure how that got messed up if it did.

This is a free version. As I said above I believe I need to look for a different calendar since this one becomes super difficult if I need any support because I just do not understand your instructions. As I said above your English is poor and hard to understand or follow your instructions.

Thank you for trying to help. Not sure why it is not working correctly. There is only one booking calendar and the back end in the CP does not show on the front side of the site.

joneiseman that worked for me. Thank you. How did you know what file it was in? I opened that file in my fTP and found that line of text and changed it. Then saved it. Worked great. Now If I could figure out how you knew where to go, I have another one I would like to change

I hate blocks Stupidest thing WP ever did.

The Day After,

I did finally get the form creation to work. I had to uninstall everything. I had to log out of my site close the browsers, and then restart my computer and reinstall the app. Then it started to work. But.. By the time I had figured that all out I was so frustrated and so far behind on the work I needed to get done that all I wanted to do was get a refund. Now that I have cooled off I will be honest I still do not want to mess with the program again. I spent a bunch of time reading the help tutorials and they seemed to confuse me even more. So even after I got the form working I had no patients left for the next issue that would surely pop up. I simply could not comprehend the explanations in the documentation. There is an issue (as with many apps) with the language. These programs are quite often written by people who do not speak English as a first language. Combine that with my dyslexic literalness and there was no way for me to understand the instructions I am sure that the program has lots of great benefits but I have no desire to go back and try again. I will just move on. BUT… If you are having similar troubles, turn it all off, reboot and start again and maybe it will clear up things for you and you may not get to the point of frustration I was at where I just could not get away from this fast enough. They were good about getting me my refund but I do not have any idea how to change my star rating. They were very cordial to me and it was not entirely their fault that these issues happened. If I had to give them a new rating I would move it up to 3 out of 5 since the capabilities look very good.

Can I clone you? THANK YOU. That was one of the best explanations I have had about anything! I am fortunate and thankful you answered my query. You are the best!

OK, I just put the word “events” in there and now the site works! Thank you. Wish I understood more about what all this stuff does and I wish there were explanations that actually explained stuff.

What should I put in there? Why should I put anything in there? What does this do (other than break my site.

Here is what the instructions say on the page Events>settings>pages>permalink structure. “You can change the permalink structure of your events, locations, categories and tags here. Be aware that you may want to set up redirects if you change your permalink structures to maintain SEO rankings.” This information DOES NOT tell me what to do. DOES NOT TELL ME HOW or WHY I should do this or even what THIS (a permalink) is. Below each window it says “e.g.”

“e.g. https://aviation-ranch.com//2012-olympics/ – you can use / Separators too“

This does not tell me what to put between the /&/ So as with most of this stuff I have no idea what I am supposed to do. So Poke and Hope or Trial and Error are my only tools.

Please let me know if you have some advice that would be help full. Your observations are spot on but still gives me nothing to go on.

Neither of those options worked. Switched themes and had the same result. Turned off ALL of the plugins and same result. I can not Give away tickets or set up an RSVP for any of my test events.

I had to laugh at the first paragraph on that page.

Have you noticed that when you look at an archive page in WordPress (an archive page is basically just a post list view), they will display category tags below the title of each post?

What if I told you that this same feature could be accomplished with your Events in The Events Calendar?

Excited?? You should be, cuz it’s pretty simple!

The answer is NO, I have never looked at an archive page. NEVER, So I have no idea how it looks or what they are talking about. Then when I see the third paragraph and the words “Pretty Simple” I know for sure I am doomed. Then I read further about creating a child theme. Got no clue how to do that and again the article makes my head spin so I can not even get started trying to do as you have suggested.

I will try to mess with the code in the actual app itself and see if I can stumble on a solution. I do not read or write code. I am a cut and paste trial and error type. If I understood any of this it would be highly likely that I would not be here asking how to do things like this.

Heck I do not even understand this block head thing other than the fact it was designed by some block head..

Thank you Gladys, I read over the information you sent but it does me no good. As with most help stuff I get completely lost in the first sentence or two. This is no different. I just do not understand this stuff.
