In reply to: [Yoast SEO] Facebook og:title is adding informationSeeing this, too (SEO 1.4.12, WP 3.5.2).
I’d expect og:title, if it couldn’t be configured, to mirror the page title for the post type.

In reply to: [Yoast SEO] meta property og:titleAlso has to be manually changed in 1.4.10 (but, on the bright side, it works now that I found it in WP’s awful support forums).
Just ran across this problem myself.

In reply to: [Tools for Twitter] Twitter Tools API compatibility? My Twitter Tools (v2.4) is working great — for posting blog entries to Twitter, creating a Twitter sidebar list, and (when I turned it on) doing individual Tweets as blog entries.
The Daily (and, tested, Weekly) Archives are non-functional, however. Very odd.
Worth noting that Twitter will be dropping all RSS/XML/Atom feeds with its new API, come March 2013.
Wow, that’s really unfortunate that the digest stuff is no longer a part of the upgraded plug-in. That was one of the major reasons I used TT (so that it could capture my Tweets into my Blog). Yes, it had occasional hiccups, but by and large I found it reliable.
I’ll check out the RSS Digest suggestion above instead — but as I recall that also ends up pulling in @replies, which is not what I want (TT also had the advantage of not tweeting the digests themselves, which was another big bonus).
Ditto.

In reply to: [Plugin: Redirection] Home Page Redirects to new wordpress pageThe fix suggestion (disabling the Modified Posts function) works.

In reply to: [Plugin: Redirection] Home Page Redirects to new wordpress pageThis just started hitting my site (Thesis 1.8 theme, Redirection 2.2.3). A “Modified Posts” redirection is being automatically created for “/blog/” to the most recently manually created post (posts autogenerated by Twitter Tools, for example, don’t suffer from this) (and, yes, postss, not pages).

In reply to: [bookTuner] [Plugin: bookTuner] Has potential, doesn't work.Agreed. Though, given that, I’m playing with the WP Bookshelf plugin until I hear otherwise. It’s got BETA stamped all over it, but seems to do the job.

In reply to: [bookTuner] [Plugin: bookTuner] Has potential, doesn't work.Actually, I was going to say that sorting would be far more useful for me than other tags, but to each their own.
This is, as it is, far superior to the native Goodreads widgets (which are HARDCODED as to the books to display, fergoshsakes).
That said, sorting would be nice (ahem).
And that would probably because I put all the podcast files in a directory called “podcasts,” then tried to create a page called “podcasts.” Hilarity, and error messages, ensue.
I’ve put in multiple feeds on a page, using the shortcode above. But I get an error (“Error executing error template.”) Running WP 2.8.4, and v.1.0.9 of the plug-in.
The page works fine through Preview, but fails when actually invoked (https://hill-kleerup.org/blog/podcasts). Individual pages with the podcasts work just fine.
