Was a theme styling issue. Solved.
Solved by moving to Contact form 7.
Ok, I completely deleted that plugin. Thank you for all the help, much appreciated.
Disabling Comet-Cache all together seems to have fixed the issue. However, I cannot leave it disabled.
I have CometCache all set to clear the sitemap cache, however maybe I need to set it to ignore sitemap.xml all together. Also, I am not certain how the caching plugin truly interacts with the newer dynamic sitemaps.
I will message their support and post the answer here. Thanks again for your replies!
I am disabling the sitemap plugin and re-activating AIOSEO sitemap function. This is the plugin I used, it is very popular and updated 2 weeks ago: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/google-sitemap-generator/
Here is a link to a screen grab showing how Google Search Console found over 3000 pages when AIOSEO was generating the sitemap. It showed 3325 pages, I have no idea why. Once I switched to the other sitemap plugin, it showed 170 pages which is more accurate: https://eastshoremarineny.com/searchconsole.jpg
Lastly, when you go to https://eastshoremarineny.com/sitemap.xml with AIOSEO’s sitemap function – you get “Error loading stylesheet: Parsing an XSLT stylesheet failed.”
With the other plugin, you can see the sitemap without issue when visiting the above link. I was unaware they were dynamically generated now, thanks for that info.
Since I am not a server expert, I reached out to my management company (Liquidweb) and they confirmed that the issue is being caused by AIOSEO, therefore it is not a server-side problem. It could, however, still be a compatibility issue with my theme (Udesign). I have been using AIOSEO and Udesign together for some time without issue. Will see what the next update brings and report back here. Thanks.
It is not the .htaccess file. Swapped that out, no improvement.
As for the theme, I cannot easily go back 1 version as there is a theme dependent plugin that updates along with the theme. It is part of the theme’s core functionality.
The issue does, however, completely resolve if AIOSEO is disabled.
Thanks Michael. Started after the last AIOSEO update. A theme update was also done. No wp core updates were done. My .htaccess file is and has been highly modified, should I just disable it all together or install a “stock” .htaccess?
I appreciate your time.
Thank you!

In reply to: [TubePress] How to Alienate All your Users in One DayJust a shitty thing to do…
They destroyed a whole section of my site. AND — It’s not that I won’t pay because it isn’t worth the money, it’s simply that I REFUSE to pay these bastards because of the shady, forceful way in which they destroyed a plugin I’d been using for such a long time.
Screw you dumb bastards for implementing these shit business practices.
Forget tubepress all together. It’s no longer a tool or WP plugin as far as I’m concerned.
You folks screwed a whole lot of users over, without a care. Soon you’ll be gone. This isn’t how business is done. You don’t take away functionality — you add new, more desirable functionality and charge a premium for that.
If I could find the guy that made this decision and punch him square in the teeth, I would.
So is the final course of action to just click it until little by little it takes care of the database and maybe one day goes away?
Or should I just ignore it? Everything seems to be working as far as new posts go, so as long as this won’t cause everything to die in the future, I’m not really concerned.
Thanks. Yeah, the database currently has 64,000+ posts.
So if I just stay on the same page when it says “Processing data migration…” — should it complete at some point?
Also, both checkboxes remained checked for the two options below when I create any new library. The checkboxes cannot be unchecked. Every time I try saving without check marks, they simply return once the saving process is complete
Categories to be displayed Show all categories
Categories to be excluded No ExclusionsThanks, I had no idea.
Is there some documentation on this somewhere?
How should Pages and Images be set then?
Every time I think I know, I find there’s something else I don’t know…
Yessir, that sure is the image! However, when I paste the article URL into FB, the image is not being pulled.
I set AIOSEO to pull the first image in the content. Could it be a FB error?
Thanks for taking a look.
I found your page here: https://semperplugins.com/documentation/social-meta-module/
So I see that it does support open graph. However, I can in no way get it to pull an image from my post – no matter how I change the settings.
What could be the issue?
I am using quickcache, so that is my first thought. Are there any known issues?
Here is the post I tried it on: https://www.multirotorusa.com/dji-phantom-dont-be-annoying/
