If you are not using the blog feature simply create a blank page with nothing in the title or body, turn off comments and sharing options, and set your site to land on the static page that you have just created.

(Appearance>>Customize>>Static Front Page then select the blank page you just created)

As far as changing the main page featured sections its pretty simple. (pictures of little girl, titles, etc.)

These steps will make your site look like the demo but customized to your website design.

Step 1. Go to Appearance>>Customize>>Widgets>>Home First Top Bar

Step 2. Click Add Widget and select “GL Images (GLASS)”

Step 3. Set your columns option to “3”, Image size to “Post Thumbnail”, and number of images to “3”

Step 4. Proceed to edit each column of the featured area using the images options first select or upload your image, enter the columns header title, click more options to include the extra text description, link, animation settings, and button text.

Do this for each image and click apply when you are finished. Save and publish and check your site out to make sure it looks the way you want. You can add more featured items by increasing the number columns and images making sure they are the same.
