In reply to: [Use Google Libraries] Add support for jquery-migrate.min.jsYes, that one seems to take a long time for my site to return to the browser for some reason. Especially compared to the pages loaded from the google site! Which are WOW fast. Thanks for the plugin!

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] 0.9.2.11 won't use existing MaxCDN pullzoneThis is still an issue on my sites. I’ve used MaxCDN with W3TC for a long time. The pull zones were already configured. And they apply to the ROOT of the domain, even though WordPress is installed in a subdirectory.
Been running without the cache… would be great to be able to get the CDN working again…

In reply to: [Relevanssi - A Better Search] 3.1.6 Crashing on post saveOkay, didn’t see the changelog notice about deactivating then activating. I did that now. Doing so got the error from WordPress:
The plugin generated 1358 characters of unexpected output during activation. If you notice “headers already sent” messages, problems with syndication feeds or other issues, try deactivating or removing this plugin.
Scary message…
The deactivate/activate seems to have cleared up the issue. Surprised there isn’t another way to get the database updated properly in structure or whatever else the deactivate/activate does during the plugin update. Otherwise, we just don’t know we need to do that…

In reply to: [Facebook] 1.3 breaks commenting on Pages in ThesisAble to resolve this by going into Thesis, Design, Display comments, and turning OFF the option to disable comments on pages. Since the previous plugin did it differently, this wasn’t an issue.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] Configure page cache for faster page post/updatesI’ve had to turn off page caching with serious impact on the deliveyr pf pages. However, post updating and posting new articles, when the page cache is fully populated (around 750 directories in the page enhanced directory) means that the system spins at high load for over 7 minutes and then returns to the All Posts index.
I have google searched for more in-depth discussion of W3 Total Cache disk caching and how to make it work better, the gotchas, etc. I am now stuck without some expert feedback on what options or server configuration issues might be leading to this kind of performance. The cache itself works great, serving pages <1 sec. Without it, I’m up over 2-3 seconds on the same pages using https://tools.pingdom.com (even with database caching).
If anyone has been this way before, or Frederick has ideas, they would be appreciated.

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] External file import is disabledI’ve tried it every which way to Sunday, and it still says Unable to download file to images that if I grab the URL and paste it into a browser works FINE…

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] External file import is disabledWant to add: My WP directory is /wp but the site address is / with the appropriate handling in the index.php and .htaccess
Still cannot figure out how to handle the media import, though. Would be great to do so, since the CDN is working GREAT (MaxCDN) on everything except those files in /images/uploads
(I did try to add /images/* and/or /images/uploads/* to the list that would be cached on the CDN, but it didn’t work. Those images after clearing all the caches in WP and on MaxCDN were still www. addresses not cdn (whereas theme files, etc., did show the url change).

In reply to: [W3 Total Cache] [Plugin: W3 Total Cache] External file import is disabledOn the content delivery network (CDN) settings tab, you need to select “Import external media library attachments” and save your settings before running the import tool.
I have the same error. And I have searched and searched the current interface for a select item on the Content Delivery Network (CDN) settings tab called “Import external media library attachments”.
The general tab there has these options, all checked:
Host wp-includes/ files
Host theme files
Host minified CSS and JS files
Host custom files
(Save Changes Button)Then comes Configuration and Advanced. Can’t find it there, either.
OKAY! Tried something. Disabled the MaxCDN and switched back to self-hosted, and viola! Two options appear:
Force over-writing of existing files
Import external media library attachmentsI turned on the Import external media library attachments, switched back to the CDN, and NO! Unable to download file…

For example, this loads fine with http: but the import into media library fails with Unable to download file.Anyway, feels like a big or something I don’t understand. Thanks for your help!
