I’m getting this problem too and would really like to have the plugin back on my site!

I really miss the stylebox too. I’m having to add HTML manually to keep my site consistent which is a real pain in the b-word.

Deactivating the SoundCloud plugin worked for us too. However as the plugin hasn’t updated in a long while (if, from memory, ever) I think this is related to the recent update and needs to be fixed.

NB a WordPress SEO plugin update came out the other day and we updated before I noticed the visual editor problem, so it’s possible this is also causing users issues. You should update to see whether that fixes things for you.

I’m having similar problems. I’m using “<title><?php wp_title(”); ?></title>” and have unchecked force rewrite, but I’m still getting duplicate site name entries on my posts.

I think by process of deduction I’ll eventually find a combination that works, but I’m pretty certain the plugin isn’t working as it should do under the new update. It’s frustrating that you have to wait for Google to ping before you know whether something’s worked – you really can’t trust the Google preview the plugin shows you.

ca310 do you mean the focus keyword option underneath your new post view? If so, that’s YOUR keyword. This plugin doesn’t pull any information from Google, it just helps you to maximise the impact your website has on it.

If you mean you’re typing “Disneyland” into Google and you’re getting zero hits, your browser’s done broke.

Update: I believe W3 Cache is clashing with Yoast. Is this a bug?

I’m getting the following message whenever I try to reinstall Yoast or deactivate the W3. Page indexing is working but Posts are still as described above: “W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. Please re-install plugin or remove /home/drunkenwerewolf/drunkenwerewolf.com/wp-content/advanced-cache.php.W3 Total Cache Error: some files appear to be missing or out of place. In my experience delays are usually at Google’s end. Having said that, updates are really variable and it makes it really difficult to know whether the plugin’s updating correctly. For example on Friday, Google updated to a format I’d installed on the previous Tuesday. I’m still waiting for the format I installed on Thursday to register.

Bump – any help? The link above says the issue’s been fixed but it hasn’t been from my end. I’ve tried reinstalling the update – is there a patch somewhere that I’m missing or are we just glossing over this issue and hoping it’ll go away?

It’s really affecting my site stats – people come to the site to listen to music and at the moment they can’t do that until I re-edit a post.
