I added the function but on the payment page there is the following error message: ” impossible to create an account with an empty identifier ”

Yes I know this function but the problem is that when creating the chosen woocommerce account takes the first and last name then adds a dot (.) in the middle of the two and defines as user name.

For example:

Name: Smith
First name: Will
Username will be: will.smith

I want the username to be the email.
