    Sorry for delay, too much work this week! I just tested it again on a different browser with a normal (not admin) email and I could comment. Yes, friday is still the correct answer. I changed a few questions to make them fit my blog’s theme (about birds) but still very easy questions such as how many wings does a bird have = 2. I only have this one blog but it’s using 2011. I think there was a few plug in updates since I posted this question so that probably got rid of the copy paste code. I have no idea how it was there but it’s gone now.

    Thanks for the reply. How do I find out if that is the case? And how do I fix it?

    My commenting profile contains my name, email & link to blog just like most bloggers and I am not a frequent commenter, maybe 3 or 4 times a week on 3 or 4 blogs.

    I had the same problem with over 40 posts prematurely published. I deleted the updated version and manually installed the one ending in .4444. The plug-in was working fine before the updated .6666 verion. Is there any reason we even need to update it? I had to manually change the status of my prematurely published posts to draft, will have to manually reschedule them. If this happens when I am overseas it would be a disaster as I only want one post per day being published.

    Update: I used Quick edit to change the status of all the prematurely published posts to “draft”. In Firefox & Safari on my iPhone I can no longer see them and see the last post which is supposed to be published about St Lucia. However in Chrome, I can still see all the posts that should be back in drafts.

    I still need to reschedule them and make sure they only post at the correct time, not beforehand.

    Before I download another plugin, is there anyway to fix the search box that is already on the site? I hate having it there if it isn’t going to work. I have no idea why it doesn’t work, other blogs I checked have something similar and they work.

    Search Everything plugin says: Warning: This plugin has not been tested with your current version of WordPress..

    Enriksen, I tried to search the word Peru using both Firefox and IE, in both cases the search button doesn’t initiate any action, it’s not hyperlinked to perform an action. I mean the search at the very top of the page, not the Amazon.com search. I want people to be able to search terms within my blog.

    I guess I did it right, ads are appearing and I have already earned $0.08! Thanks for your help!

    It’s been about 24 hours. I am not so much worried that the ads aren’t displaying yet, I am worried because I can’t tell if I did the widget correctly and Google’s people won’t be able to see the impressions they are talking about in the quoted text.

    I was afraid of that. I’m just starting up as a blogger so can’t afford to hire anyone for custom work, was hoping there was something I could download. I am somewhat surprised to see a rainforest theme on a techie blog, they seem to do lots of reviews of various programs, themes, etc.

    I’m not sure what happened either, I am a total newbie to WordPress, though I am familiar with the 3.8 version of VBulletin and CPanel. At least it is OK now! Thanks for helping!

    I think I fixed it! I was adjusting the sidebar and widgets after I made that “Hello World” post. Then I added a new post and did a “quick edit” and save to the Hello World post and now the side bars are correct. So I guess if you play with the sidebar, you only see the effects on posts you do after you make the change?

    Or is there some way to retroactively apply the sidebar to older posts? I expect to be adding more widgets when my Adsense account is activated which apparently takes a week.

    OK this is bizarre, if I click on “Archives” in the sidebar (which I removed in Widgets), then click on “November”, the sidebar looks like it is supposed to. But the “Hello World” post and home page don’t look right.

    I do have version 1.8 and the file says

    <div id=”sidebar”>

    <?php
    if ( function_exists ( dynamic_sidebar(1) ) ) :
    dynamic_sidebar (1);
    endif;
    ?>

    </div>
