Hello,
Sounds like there is a conflict of probably the server have too much load. Does process on other plugins takes 10-20 seconds also?
Can you 1st try and update to the latest version of WP, EM and EM PRO? Then try changing to a default theme and deactivate all other plugins and only Activate EM and EM Pro.
Then you can try and check if the process is still taking too long. If everything works, then you could try activating plugin one by one to see which one is causing.Hello,
Currently there is no Option to exclude recurring events. There is already a Ticket/Bug report for it. I hope the Devs could make an update that has those.
Currently what you could do is only display recurring only by adding a recurring=”1″.
Another workaround is to Tag or Put normal events in a Category and display those event categories using a shortcode.

In reply to: [Events Manager - Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more!] Crashing WebsiteHave you Installed or updated any other plugins other than the EM? Are you using EM only or does it includes EM Pro?
Just to make sure, can you try and use a default theme and Deactivate all other plugins and only Activate EM and EM Pro?
Another cause is also a hosting issue, like the PHP Version of your host is not compatible or you would need to Increase the memory_limit of your Installation.
You can add those additional filter on the URL also. something like the one below.
/wp-admin/edit.php?s&post_status=all&post_type=event&action=-1&m=0&scope=past&filter_action=Filter&paged=1&action2=-1&order=desc
Hello,
Currently there is no feature on EM to book all the dates at once for a recurring event. However there is a walkaround on this by creating 2 events, 1 Event and 1 Recurring Event and disable the booking for recurring and putting the single event there. So in the process they will be booking on the Single Event but they will see the details of the recurring event
Steps:
1. Create a recurring Event and Disable the booking option for it
2. Create a normal/single Event
3. Set the event span to be the same the recurring events
4. Enable the booking for this normal event
5. Create Tickets that are for sale on this event
6. you may want to put a date range for the event like Ticket A is for 1st week, Ticket B is for 2nd wee only or something like that
7. Then on the recurring event. put a shortcode like this:
[event post_id=”123″]#_BOOKINGFORM[/event] where 123 is the Event ID of the Single event you createdIf you’re using the PRO Version, there is a Spam protection. You can check more about those Features here: https://wp-events-plugin.com/features/
Hello,
You could try adding &order=desc or &order=asc at the end of query
Hello,
If you’re using the Pro Version, You can customize the Booking Form Under Events > Forms Editor
You can check the following to modify the templates.
1. /events-manager/templates/templates/category-single.php
2. /events-manager/templates/templates/categories-list.phpThere is also an instruction under: https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/using-template-files/ for using the template files on your theme.
Hello,
You can check this link on how you can change the template files on your theme:
https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/using-template-files/Hello,
The placeholder #_EVENTLINK is working for me: I have also tried them with the following shortcode:
[events_list scope="future" limit="10"] #_EVENTLINK will take place at #_LOCATIONLINK on #_EVENTDATES at #_EVENTTIMES [/events_list]
Have you tried updating the plugin to the latest version?

In reply to: [Events Manager - Calendar, Bookings, Tickets, and more!] orderby=”views”Hello,
By orderby=”view”, are you referring by Page view count of Events? or by number of attendees of Events?
Hello,
Can you upload a Screenshot? Checking the site that you included seems to be working properly on my mobile device.
I’ve checked both the homepage and the events calendar link (https://swimminggoldcoast.org.au/?page_id=164) and the calendar is displaying properly.
Hello,
You would need to update your WordPress to the latest version to fix those problem. Those problem could be because the Visual Editor script is not loading properly because it’s depreciated.
