In reply to: [Cyclone Slider] White screen of death after updateMaybe spoke too soon. But I didn’t report the plugin until I was sure it wasn’t compatible with the newest version of WP. First checked with a fresh install of WordPress on my server and it worked fine. Figured out it was that my client had PHP v5.2 set on his cPanel settings. Changed that to 5.5 and works fine now. Hopefully that happens to be the case with some of the other posts (saw some other threads that sounded very similar).

In reply to: [Cyclone Slider] White screen of death after updateSince this seems to be a serious problem (and since they don’t seem to care to address it), I’m going to ask the community to remove this plugin.
Thanks! I added another star to the rating.
Added a couple stars as a ‘thank you for caring’.

In reply to: [jQuery T(-) Countdown Widget] Works, but You NEED to style itEdited my review. Was a little harsh… 4 stars since it works, unlike many WordPress plugins.
@edanzer & @photocrati
When you say that your galleries work on mobile, is that something that has changed since my review? As far as 1 star… it’s definitely warranted if your plugin doesn’t work on mobile. It might as well not work at all since over half typical site visitors are coming from mobile devices. It’s beeen 5 months so I really don’t remember the issue. I looked and the links you gave and they work on mobile. I’ll add a star to the rating. The next time I create a WordPress site, I’ll install the plugin and give it another chance… and a new review & rating. But that will have to suffice for now. Thanks for taking the time to check out your reviews. At least it shows you care unlike a lot of other ext. developers.Forum: Reviews

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Shipping Charges NOT Charged at PayPalOpe… just seen your post, Toshi. Nice researching. Wow… I’m sorry I assumed it was a smaller development company (get shopped), but the largest online payment processor in the world is the one that is being extremely unprofessional and incompetent. PayPal SUCKS for this. I’m sure it affected more than just us then. Sorry, getshopped.

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Shipping Charges NOT Charged at PayPalNope… it started when I updated the plugin to the newest version earlier this morning. Sucks when you update like you’re supposed to and the developers didn’t test the new update before releasing it…

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Shipping Charges NOT Charged at PayPalSame problem here. I’m about ready to let this non-tech client start with the communication on bugs with wp E-commerce. Getting tired of this.

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Checkout page refreshes onlyI actually didn’t install the plugin, but I checked and it is an older version. I’ll update it when I update to WordPress 4. Thanks!

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Checkout page refreshes onlyI understand, Edward. I did find a fix…
Like one person mentioned, even though it didn’t solve the original poster’s issue, changing the setting under ‘checkout’:
Checking ‘Users must re-enter Shipping Address’ solved the problem. Unfortunate that users have to enter their address twice if it’s the same, but at least it’s working.
I feel I should explain the name calling also. That was kind of a general statement aimed at the plugin developer for not fixing a known issue for 10 months, the very few people that happened to ask completely unrelated questions on the topic, and also for marking it resolved. But I understand now I guess why it’s marked as resolved. Sorry if I hurt anyone’s feelings.

In reply to: [WP eCommerce] Checkout page refreshes onlyAre you people idiots? The issue isn’t solved and it’s been 10 months, yet this post says [resolved]. Thanks for making me waste my time reading all these posts to find nothing other some other idiots talking about images on the checkout and stuff that doesn’t pertain to the page refreshing. I see this type of behavior way too much with WordPress plugins and WordPress support. C’mon people… step it up!
