Thanks Farhan,
In the mean time I got it working with help from the Hosts, then it stopped again.
So, as it’s only the form that doesn’t work (the rest of the plugin is fine) I’m going to just use Contact Form 7 for this and avoid the issue altogether…..
Thanks again for your help.
Tim
Just to follow up on this, I removed the AOL form from the page where it wasn’t working for now, until we fix it.
So, in case you need to test it, it’s on this page https://pemburypartners.com/aol-test-page/
Looking forward to hearing back in due course.
Hi Farhan,
The issue has come back, but somewhat different. When I try to upload a cv, I now get the following message (this is different than before – see earlier messages):
Session Expired, please refresh this page and try again. If problem presists, please report this issue through Contact Us page. Thanks
If I don’t add a CV or other document, I still get the same message – I can’t submit the form at all – so something isn’t right.
Can you help?
Please note that I’m still not sure about the file upload path I’ve added (please excuse me but I’m not sure the difference between a public/private path….)
at present I have /home//pemburypartners.com/wp-content/uploads/applyonline
Although I have tried a few different variations, as well as leaving it blank. None seem to work. In any case I can’t submit any form, with or without a CV.
Please advise asap!
Many thanks
Tim
Hi Farhan,
Many thanks for coming back to me.
I’m guessing the htaccess was necessary on the old host but not the new one, so stopped it working when we migrated. I didn’t change anything else.
It’s working now, so I’ll leave it be anyway.
Best regards,
Tim
Hello again.
I believe I’ve fixed it. The issue seemed to be an .htaccess file in the Uploads folder, which didn’t contain any code. I removed it, and CVs can now be uploaded again.
However, should there be a .htaccess file there? If so, what should it contain?Best regards,
Tim
FYI the error I get when trying to upload is
Unable to create directory applyonline/applyonline. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

Thank you Farhan, I look forward to it.
