In reply to: sorting in blog-in-blogThe new version of the plugin should work for you. let me know if not.
Guys, you’ll need to post links to the pages showing issues, or email me direct.
regards,
TimHi not seen this issue in testing.
however it looks like the debug code thinks it should be on. please go to the options page and make sure that the debug option is turned off. you may need to set and unset. let me know if that resolves it?if not post urls here so that I can see what you mean, or email me directly with urls if you prefer.
Thanks

In reply to: Blog in Blog pluginHi crazyuncleivan,
Several steps ??- Can you try just blog-in-blog with the default kubrick theme? Does it work then?
- If it does add your theme back in: does it work then?
- If it does, then add each plugin you use and after adding each one test until we find which one is not playing happily.
- Then, final step to confirm which plugin is misbehaving, un-install all other plugins except the suspect and blog-in-blog. does it still fail?
- Finally, let me know what combination of plugins and theme failed and I can try and reproduce/fix on my dev server.
Thanks

In reply to: [Plugin: Blog-in-Blog] Excerpt Instead Of Full Post?Hi Gemma,
blog-in-blog will automatically show only an excerpt if you use the wordpress<!--more-->
tag in the post. However, If you use the excerpt field specially, then I have added a tag
%post_excerpt%
. this is present in version 0.9.5 onwards of my plugin. I have literally just committed the changes to svn, so you should be able to download it within about 15-30 mins of this post.(BTW: I wish wordpress would email me when there is a post about my plugin! Then I could have responded 2 weeks ago!)
Hope this helps.
Kind regards

I have just added this feature in the development version of the plugin. Do you want to give this a go and let me know if that works OK for you?
Download development version here
Basically add
sort=oldest
to show the oldest posts first orsort=newest
to show the newest posts first. Thanks

In reply to: [Plugin: Blog-in-Blog] Category Post Font TypeHi,
All you need to do is have a look in the blog-in-blog plugins directory. There you will find bib_post_template.tpl. Edit this file so that things like classnames on html elements match those used by your theme.
Job done.
