Same problem! Is there any support on this. Seems the issue was in 3.4 with a workaround, but as yet the “latest release” has been coming since before 3.4 and not arrived?

This bug fix doesn’t work in WordPress 3.5 and galleries are totally gone.

Any news on this “lastest release” or is it time to choose something else mate?
