Hi Bit51,
Thank you for a great plugin that we always use.
We added one more layer of security to the back end using Dome9 Security.Your Better WP Security together with Dome9 is the new Total WP Security.
Awesome, Cheers WPS
Hi Bit51,
Sorry for the late answer. Been down with the flu. Your question – Have the .htaccess rules been entered into the .htaccess file in the root of your website?
Yes they have.
We’re using a vps server and everyting is working fine except the hide backend function.
Our site is a classified ad website using the Appthemes ClassiPress theme. We also use Litespeed web sever plugin for WHM/Cpanel.
Is there any reported issues using Better WP Security with AppThemes ClassiPress, and or issues with Litespeed server that we missed?
Thanks again, WPS.
I forgot to mention how I did it:
First type: /wp-login.php?action=register will display the website register page.
Now type: /wp-login.php and the wp-login admin page shows.
Settings Used:
Hide Backend: Enabled
Login Slug: Login
Register Slug: Register
Admin Slug: oddsecretnameusedWP Permalinks: /%postname%/
