We currently don’t have any EM changes that should impact this one. However one possible reason is probably because there’s an issue with your Events Manager templates under Events > Settings > Formatting > Events.
There’s a chance they there might be HTML Tags that was not closed properly.
Another possible reason is probably a plugin or theme conflict

Events Manager should adopt the Colors of your theme. However, If it doesn’t work, You should be able to target the CSS elements and apply the custom CSS needed.

I’m glad that you have managed to fix the issue. If perhaps the issue still happens, I would suggest making a Staging Site and try changing the theme and check again for error logs if it would still show.

As for the 2 questions you have, Currently both of those are not possible at the moment and would require you to do some custom development to achieve. Currently custom dev is outside our support scope.
