Fixed !
The issue lied at the “Afterpay Express checkout button” on the cart page.
If clients click on this button to checkout instead of Woocommerce checkout button, they will have the issue.
Solution:
Uncheck the option: “Display Afterpay Express Checkout element on the cart page” in Afterpay Setting page.
