What issues or bugs have you encountered? I haven’t experienced any so far.
What bugs have you experienced?
I’m using the free version (still building the site/project) and haven’t found any bugs so far.
After doing extensive research, I found this to be the most reliable & lightweight plugin (based on reviews and my own tests) compared to others that offer all these functions.
My only concern is potential security issues…
What you want to call this?
The [Site Title] would be a good & elegant standard, instead of the current “Admin Product” text.
Whatever someone would want to call this instead, I assume that name is easily editable in the code though?
Have a great day,
TimThank you very much for your fast & kind reply.
“If you want to show “Sold By” label for Admin, I can help you in this.”
That would be great. Is there also a way to change/edit the standard text: “Admin Product” inside the “|More Offers|” tab?
2.) Refund Request suggestions
Is there any chance that extended refund options can be included in a WCFM’s premium packs update? The add-on from https://www.makewebbetter.com has all those suggested features, but (like many people) I avoid using many different plugins & would only buy this from WCFM instead.
Have a great day,
TimHi there,
I retested it for you, to double-check if the Awesome-features worked:
Apparently it just took quite a long time for settings to show on our site after installing the plugin and customizing the settings on the judge.me website (was CTRL+F5 refreshing every few minutes while waiting). But once they finally came through, any adjustment afterwards immediately took effect with little to no latency.
Thanks for your help.
Thank you for your kind reply.
That’s odd, I installed the free version but didn’t seem able to apply premium functions like custom fields…
1. You’re right, the plugin does restrict reviews from non-verified buyers to be shown. But if I’m not mistaken, it’s not possible to disable the ‘write a review’ button for regular visitors (just like standard Woocommerce)? –> When customers read the standard “Only logged in customers who have purchased this product may leave a review.” and are unable to submit reviews without buying the product, it builds valuable trust in the validity of the reviews.
2. That’s a great feature. But unless I’m wrong, they can’t submit a review on the product page without entering their Name & Email, even though they’re already logged in on the store’s website?
Just checking to see if I got all the facts right.
Have a great day,
TimThank you for your kind and clear reply @wfyann
Does that feature actually disable admin user accounts created outside of WordPress, or does it simply just send a notification?
I assume the same. I’ve been working on that site daily to launch it soon, and I’ve never seen an ad.php in public_html though. Is there any way to trace how he did it?
And thank you for the cleanup advice link. I’ve asked my host to reset to a backup of previous day – no ad.php file anywhere to be found btw – and set only my IP to log in for now. I’ll do a manual cleanup by deleting and uploading all of the WP files as well.
I was just about to go Premium before the hack. Ironic…
Have a nice day.
I reinstalled and cleaned all settings, that fixed it for me. Maybe you customized your email templates with a tricky code? Or perhaps try disabling other plugins to see if they delay it somehow.
PS: The subscribe notice itself does take a few seconds to load over here (using variations). Not sure if it’s normal or just on my end.

Apparently, every variation has to be set with the “Manage stock?” option.
For example if you have 5 variations, of which 4 have the “Manage stock?” setting checked with a quantity assigned, and 1 does not have this option checked but simply uses the “in stock” status.. then the ‘back in stock’ mail will not send.
So it does work. ?? Due to this specific way of use, and which does not allow mix-ups, it just leaves room for people thinking it does not work.
However, it does still have the backend issue with the “interested people” number bug. And the entire subscribe notification tends to load a bit slow on my site.. some might be too fast in leaving the variation before seeing the notification.
Still, a wonderful plugin. Great job so far!
To update you:
I tried it with a simple product as well, no variations this time. Restocking by increasing the stock number from 0 to 1, and setting ‘out of stock’ to ‘in stock’ did send an email!
Oddly, before the product is restocked the number of interested people does show 1, yet the two products above and all products below in the list show a blank number. Starting from 3 products above, the numbers show again.
Same issue. Running the latest version of Woocommerce, WordPress and your plugin.
The user gets an email after subscribing to a size of a variable product. Yet, when the product is back in stock nothing happens.
The number of interested people for that product is blank as well. And strangely, all other products on that same overview-page are blank as well instead of showing 0.
@dualcube thank you for your reply.
I’m just a beginner so I’m not capable of reverse engineering your code, but I understand that it’s probably too much effort to upgrade an older version with the fix mentioned above.
Could you add an option for placeholder text in a future update though? The email field is still blank with no option to add a placeholder if I’m not mistaken.
Have a nice day.
If you could also provide the fix for not showing the ‘stock alert email’ by default on visiting the page when one of the options is out of stock, us Woocommerce 2.6 people can still use your wonderful plugin. ?? (Or maybe even upgrade v1.3.2 with the fixes by default?)
To elaborate:
If I have a product with size S, M, L ; and M would be out of stock, the plugin already shows the stock alert on visiting the page. I assume you fixed this in later versions so that the message only shows when the out of stock size is selected. Could you please share the code(s) to fix it in v1.3.2?It seems others would love to still have it compatible with Woo2.6 as well, they could all refer to this topic as the fix to do so. ??

That would be really wonderful. Maybe you can collab with https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/invisible-recaptcha/ to make things easier for you.

https://taylorlovett.com/2016/03/25/wordpress-caching-plugin-comparison/As you are my fav choice, I do hope it’s either an unjustified remark or either resolved.
