In reply to: [Easy Facebook Feed] DOES require FB access tokenHi,
The text doesn’t say you don’t need an access token, it says you don’t have the hassle like with other plugins. Acquiring the access token is usually a time consuming process, Easy Facebook Feed has made it easy with just one click. So therefor it safes you time.
Sorry to see this wasn’t clear for you. I have changed the text to make it more clear.

In reply to: [Easy Facebook Feed] videosI’m not sure why some work and others don’t, when you are the owner of the video and the page they should work. I don’t see any embedded video’s on your website in the Facebook feed though.
I have added an shortcode option in version 3.0.22 to exclude certain post types (you can add multiple comma separated). So when you use the following shortcode you can hide the video posts.
[easy_facebook_feed exclude="video"]
Don’t forget the clear cache after changing the shortcode. The downside of this option is that the number of Facebook posts on your website can vary. When you get 6 posts for example and 2 of them are video’s you will see only 4 posts on your website.

In reply to: [Easy Facebook Feed] videosVideo’s were supported until Facebook decided to remove the source url for the video from the api so we can’t embed it anymore. The documentation says it’s only included when you are the owner of the Facebook page but I haven’t been able to try that out. So if you let the owner of the Facebook page generate an access token there is a chance embedded video’s will work.
Unfortunately it’s not possible to exclude posts with video’s.

In reply to: [Easy Facebook Feed] (#4) Application request limit reachedHi @hirenwebs,
That message is not from Easy Facebook Feed, it’s from another plugin. Looks like you are using FaceBook Feed Pro. I suggest to contact them if you need help.
Good to see you have found a solution anyway, good luck.

In reply to: [Easy Facebook Feed] (#4) Application request limit reachedHi guys,
I found an easier way to generate an access token. In version 3.0.21 you can find a new option in the admin panel to generate an long term access token. Don’t forget to save your settings after generating the new access token.
After this everything should be back to normal.

In reply to: [Easy Facebook Feed] (#4) Application request limit reachedI have added an option to add your own access token in version 3.0.20. Hopefully it will help some people.
The easiest way to generate one is to use the tool from our neighbors from custom facebook feed: https://smashballoon.com/custom-facebook-feed/access-token.

In reply to: [Easy Facebook Feed] (#4) Application request limit reachedI agree people should have to option to add their own token. It’s already on my todo list for tonight after work, I guess it’s the best solution for now.

In reply to: [Easy Facebook Feed] (#4) Application request limit reachedI’m trying to solve it. I already tried other larger Facebook feed plugins to see if they already found a solution but sadly they seem to have the same problem because Facebook is changing the api. The only solution I have seen is to let people generate their own access token but that only works when you are the admin of the facebook page which is probably for many people not the case. It would also make this plugin a lot less easy to use.
I’ll continue to search for a solution.
