I’m having this problem since updating to 2.8.5. I’ve changed my .htaccess file, changed back and forth from/to ugly permalinks, and am entirely too frustrated and annoyed right now to even think of diving into the core code.

Ugly permalinks work. No others do.

No, the table doesn’t exist. I deactivated/reactivated the plugin before posting. I’ve deleted the file from my server, uploaded again, etc etc.

I’m not quite sure why it isn’t working, to be completely honest.

***updated: Nevermind. I’m going to assume that it was just one of those random php/sql hiccups. After posting my response here I uploaded the file, activated it, and now it’s working fine.

You need to rename the plugin folder to spcourseware.

Nevermind – got it to synch. When I originally set up my userinfo in Live+Press, I capitallized the T. I set up a second username with a “t” and it worked.

HOWEVER, now I can’t delete the incorrect userinfo. It’s not a big deal to me, but I thought unteins should know for bug-squishing info.

@jennmiller – that fixed the db errors, thank you.

I’m still not synched up with my LJ though.

I’m having the same problem as dbachen. I get an admin_functions, line 911 error as well as Fatal error: Call to a member function on a non-object /Blog/wp-content/plugins/LivePress/lpeditjournal.php on line 113

I’ve downloaded, re-downloaded, and gone into the editor to look for the same things other folks have changed, to no avail.

problem solved. I was missing a . in the path lol

@kafkaesqui – the path is correct. I even went back and deleted/re-typed it in case there was a space in there that my editor wasn’t letting me see.

Nevermind! It was the bookmarklet. Once I deleted it, everything worked fine.

Well, while I was afk with my son, I got emails – so apparently I just wasn’t patient enough ??
The default_comment_status IS set to open. I’m not quite sure why I don’t have a comments link on the main page. The only thing I’ve changed is the background color.
