Thx for the input. It would be sad if custom css would have to be injected for this little website… specially since the duotones on the portraits had been working for a long time just fine.

All systems are up to date, could not identify a theme option with influence.

Here’s a screenshot of my inspection (I see no conflicts):

And I should add that in the editor view the duotone effect is cleary visible:

I observe the same with Firefox. “The block editor requires JavaScript. Please enable JavaScript in your browser settings, or try the Classic Editor plugin.”

With WP 5.0.3. and latest versions of WPML.

Found a simple solution for only having flags in top menu language switcher:

In Design > Customize > Header > Primary Header Menu I can reduce in language switcher to [:de][:fr][:] – works, now I have only flags as language switcher (using theme Minamaze Version: 1.2.1).

Migration from mqTranslate to qTranslate X worked perfectly for me on a small website… only use two languages (de, fr). Worked according to original given instructions. Started on a WP 4.2.4. After the migration I updated to WP 4.3. Works fine. Great work.

Added the language switcher via Design > Menus to my top menu. I like to have only the flags as language switcher, but was not able to do that, yet. Result of default is the given prefix (e.g. Sprache:) before the flags. As soon as I leave the name of the switcher menu empty the switcher will completely disappear from the top menu.

installed jetpack 3.6 on wp 4.2.2, reconfigured the fb widget, no change from now smaller fb like widget appearance. Height can not be changed when widget shows like’s and portraits. Only showing max. 6 pics in my case (depending on sidebar width of theme, I guess). Widget height can be adjusted in fb widget stream mode.

Overall I think the look of the stream-box has improved, the like box not. On a local level it was kind of neat to show like faces and friends in a box 600 or 800 px in height.
