Is there any body who thought about an alternative on how to integrate Google Fotos albums into a WordPress website – also beyond end of March 2025, when Google changes conditions in a way that the Photonic gallery does not fit to this need anymore?

I am not sure if there are some plugins that might still allow certain functionalities in a similar way as Photonic did in the past.

it would be great to get some hints from other Photonic users.

do I have to add popup=show to all my places where I use this or can I change the standard in the settings?

This is not really a problem, but when moving through several collections I want to easy open and close such collections, but after opening the first, scrolling is needed which is not fully userfriendly.
Thanks for supporting me with your standard options. I really appreciate this. I still have the gut feeling, that my idea fits better. But this is probaby more flavor then facts.

excuse because my hint was misleading and wrong.

For this Plugin my solution was to setup the site as an SSL encrypted one which it was not before . After that it worked well.

yes – it was around the settings in Google Cloud where you have to enable the service for Google Photos from what I remember. It works now on my site.
