    https://www.petrescuesaga.co/it/pet-rescue-saga-windows-phone.html

    Hi,

I have another site running the almost same config on Linux and these are the URL’s I get when navigating to Page2 of the list of pages (e.g. it works)

    https://www.linux.co.uk/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=page

    https://www.linux.co.uk/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=page&paged=2

On the install on the IIS server this is what I get when navigating to Page2 of the Page list

    https://www.iis.herts.sch.uk/wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=page

(URL is gives me in tool tip link is https://www.iis.herts.sch.uk/wp-admin/edit.php?paged=2

Resultant URL = List of POSTS not PAGES
    https://www.arnetthills.herts.sch.uk/wp-admin/edit.php?paged=1

It must be an IIS defect?

    Any thoughts please folks?

    Hi Ryan

I turned off all themes and diasaled all plugins and it still occurs.

I have some other sites using rougly same themes etc. Studiopress / genesis as well as other themes and they all run on same iis server and have the same issue.

The trouble is that you cannot get onto page 2 for any lists e.g. media, pages, events or whatnot.

This particular site is one i did pro bono for a school and they have lots of pages etc and the headmistress is not techy enough to change the query parameters each time she needs to move to page 2.

site is here if it helps, many thanks

I also had this and renamed my current theme – reverted to the default – logged into to wp-admin.

i then uploaded the ftp theme files and it looks OK.

I have quite a few sites and many hosts cpanel’s are running on out of date software and are fairly easily hacked from the web hosts “log a support ticket page” once you are into the hosts console you can then access cpanel from within this.

BTW – my site was using the genesis theme

    Hi dcoda

    Thanks for the help.

I forced an update and the new links have now come through fine so the forced update is working but the visitor triggered update does not seem to be.

Also for some reason the first links (alphabetically) comes through to the target blog but without any categories.

    Be grateful for any help

Both blogs are running WordPress v3.1.2

No access to host – any ideas on post import other than copy / paste?

    Thread Starter silverlight001

    (@titaniumconsulting)

    Hi,

Sorry but none of these methods will work since we have no:

    access to host
    ftp access
    admin access
    access to the admin email

Basically I just need a way of cloning / copying the site if such a thing exists

I’m looking at the winhttrack solutions but this still means a messy page by page import.

    Any other suggestions gladly received

    Thanks

    Hi,

We have over a dozen WordPress blog hosted on a Windows IIS server and installing the plugin

    https://www.ads-software.com/extend/plugins/permalink-fix-disable-canonical-redirects-pack/

    does indeed fix this issue

However, does this highlight a WordPress release flaw that they did not test on Windows servers??

Something to be included in the test scripts for next time WordPress folks please?
