Simply edit this line in your wp_config file.

Existing code:
define ('WPLANG', '');

Change it to:
define ('WPLANG', 'fr_FR');

But just in case anyone else is wondering as it can be a little bit confusing at first and quite a few people seem to have issued with this.

Yes you can update your theme before it’s assigned to a reviewer, also in order to do so simply resubmit your theme here:
https://www.ads-software.com/themes/upload/
(the system will do the rest and automatically find your first ticket)

The color scheme is actually set as default only when a new user registers; thereafter, the user is free to pick another one. I’ll work on this issue, and find a way to set it as default for all users without preventing them from changing the color scheme in their profiles.
