In reply to: [Pinterest for WooCommerce] Still suggests to install tagI am answering myself – some hours later the tag is shown in settings, so there’s some delay. Maybe this information will help others. It seems I will have many more questions though.

In reply to: [Ship Estimate for WooCommerce] Some thoughtsAfter some further testing of user experience I have a quick follow-up. If delivery estimate is shown in days then it’s not clear if it includes backorder time or not. So it would be nice to reflect that fact by adding some addendum to days count (e.g. “delivery estimate: 14-20 days (including backorder time)“) in case there are backordered items. It would make sense to show it conditionally as showing this information for orders without backordered products can add confusion as well.
It seems I was wrong and Judge.me AggregateRating is not added, at least it’s not in the HTML of page but SEO browser extension seems AggregateRating somehow. It’s confusing.
So you mean reviews text is not added to the structured data or what?
AggregateRating is added to structured data by Judge.me JS and it seems to work OK with your plugin turned on.OK, thank you for the quick reply. Can you tell me how your plugin would work with Judge.me right now? Did you do any testing?

In reply to: [Ship Estimate for WooCommerce] Some thoughtsOh, I absolutely understand how many time you spent developing this plugin, so I want to state again that it’s already great and really feature-rich for a free plugin and express deep respect for your work.

In reply to: [Pinterest for WooCommerce] Needs WC Admin to work!Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I don’t quite get what you wanted to say. As I don’t see any bypassing the requirement no matter how I deactivate WC admin via this filter or via plugin which uses the same filter BTW, the plugin just does not work unless WC admin is active.
Why on Earth you set such a requirement? WC admin gives nothing to 90% of shop owners but eats up a lot of server resources and adds a good chance of some problems right away or in future (there were hunders of reviews mentioning site crashing).Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] What Happened to Version 7.2.1?I would expect at least some sort of quick announcement from devs about what happened and why current latest version is 7.1.1.
Leaving millions of store owners and developers guessing what happened is rather disrespectful.Forum: Plugins
In reply to: [WooCommerce] What Happened to Version 7.2.1?I did have issues on one of the sites with Woo DB update actions not updating DB and constantly getting scheduled over and over again.
Same story. I updated WC to 7.2.1 and now my log is full of warnings related unsuccessful WC database migration.
There’s one more:
PHP Warning:? Trying to access array offset on value of type bool in /wp-content/plugins/woo-product-feed-pro/pages/admin/woosea-manage-settings.php on line 13
Can you please clarify what you mean by “products getting disapproved”?
Do you mean that will happen when I try to start ad campaign? As catalogue is uploaded just fine (I managed to configure your plugin in a way to provide only one variation simulating parent product although that was hard, show only lowest price and default variation options are not sufficient).
Does Facebook state this somewhere in their manuals? All I red to date on their support pages is rather vague.I can confirm that #2 is fixed in 1.4.5. But #3 is still valid (only maximum estimate is shown on thank you page and in email when exact date is switched on).
Thank you for your reply and clarification.
“This is a lazy alternative to hide promise dates when a business cannot promise a specific timeline for products on backorder.” – so it is useful for those relying on particular product backorder rules? I use only general backorder days setting so maybe that’s why this setting seemed useless for me.
I want to notice that original idea was a good one. Actually shop owners can add some backorder notification to checkout page via hooks rather easily but it makes sense to have this functionality inside the plugin.
Once again thank you for a very useful plugin, soon I will write a post with some thoughts how it can become even more useful. After further testing I can report that issue #2 (backorder time is not added) was introduced in 1.4.0 while other issues are present in earlier versions as well.
1) Hi, maybe I am dumb but I can’t get the logic beyond this change. AFAIU you removed backorder notification text and added some text shown when backorder time is not specified. Can you please explain the logic beyond this?
– to me it seems these functions meet different needs so why removing notification? It seems rather useful to me. BTW while testing previous version (1.4.2) I can’t make the removed feature to work (no backorder text was shown above shipping section).
– what’s the logic of new function (optional shipping description)? Why the text is shown instead of specified method time, what’s the use case?2) It seems backorder time is not added anymore to the shipping time. I can’t make it work.
3) On thank you page and in the email only one date (maximum) is shown when “Display Exact Date” is turned on while both dates are shown as expected in the cart and checkout.
I switched to Storefront to be sure it’s not theme incompatibility and it’s the same.
