Let’s take this example:

CPT1: Countries
CPT2: Cities
CPT3: Major Attractions

In the article of CPT1, I would like anything related to the country to appear, which could be a city in that country or an attraction in that country (all identified by the same tag as country).

Do I make sense? I use different CPT for each as I style my content with WP Types and WP Views, 100% compatible to the WP3 CPT.

So far I am using NRELATE right now, as it manages this out of the box. However, I did prefer your plugin as it seems lighter on the resources…

what was the solution?

Quite frankly, this surprises me. The issue that NextGen cannot display the featured images in a post has been around for nearly 2 years…

Google search results on this topic…

Basically it shows up when you click “use as featured image” when creating a post. However on the front-end, the picture will never show.

I am working on a local machine without any security plugins and it’s still not working (as in the last 2 years)… Really a pity, such a great plugin and it would be such a great replacement for the built-in media library, if only it could be used to attach pictures to articles in featured thumbnails…

@mbrsolution: I can’t do that, too much traffic on these sites, and I don’t want to risk having to go through all child sites checking if all plugins were reactviated correctly…

Strange, none of these plugins seemingly have anything in common with that… The one closest is Quick Cache, as I don’t think sitemaps or a contact form would impact the save process..

Quick Cache doesn’t cache the admin area though, so it shouldn’t be correlated either… really strange, does anybody else have any ideas what this could be caused by?

Needless to say: most recent WP 3.4.2 version, most recent plugin versions of all plugins, PHP 5.3 on both sites, etc.

I am having a similar problem: 2 multisites on the same server with the exact same httpd settings. The only difference is that one runs a bunch of multisites and has over 40 plugins activated, the other one is a fresh install with only 4 plugins activated.

The one with less plugins works. Can you guys check if you have any of my plugins installed, so we can narrow it down? Unfortunately, I can’t deactivate and reactivate all the plugins, as I run a busy multisite and can’t play around with it…

W3 Total Cache is a great plugin for stand-alone sites, and works very well. However development is extremely slow so I wouldn’t put my horses on it if you’re waiting for an update. He hasn’t released a new version in over a year…

Now this is strange: as opposed to your video tutorial, the fields for mapping do not appear. All I see is:

What I did is to create the mapping manually, regardless of that issue. However I do feel that the problem lies here, as I can manage to import the posts, however none of my custom fields are populated during the import, so I guess the mapping doesn’t work. What do you think?

Previously, this actually allowed me to map the fields and conduct the import. Now it’s empty and I can’t select any option from the mapping presets and the only field (again I can’t select anything) is “Title”, with an empty pulldown menu.

Any idea what could be the issue?

Just fyi, I uus the latest WP 3.4.1 on a dedicated server with PHP 5.2.6 and have full control over php execution time, upload limits etc, which are all set to very high values for testing purposes.

sorted it out, just used the default MS Excel CSV format.
However, while the import is saying “Successfully imported…”, the only thing imported is the post title, everything else is empty (I have a lot of custom fields…).

What could this be?
