Hi there @jamesosborne, I thought I did do this – is there any way to ensure this is the case? Maybe it is because I did something in the wrong order (plugins disabled prior or after?)?
Is this https the most common cause of sitekit having this error?
When I go to settings from general > I show http rather than https..?
@jamesosborne thanks for your attempt here. I had to reinstall my OS due to another issue, and am now back at this. I tried both your suggestions (and also disabled all extensions in Firefox just in case it was getting blocked by something else), and it’s still a loop. Also updated site kit in the mean time.
here is my current site health. as you can see ti’s the only plugin i have active as well.
I don’t think my hosting provider provides any plugins, how would I determine this? The host is namecheap. I looked and couldn’t find any good documentation on this.

OK, so I enabled debug, then to be sure I went through and removed all plugins (even though they were disabled before), including this one. Reinstalled this one, did the steps above, and no error. Worked fine! Thank you.
So does this mean that every 90 days when I need to renew manually, I need to follow this process to keep non www operating?
Thank you for your followup. When doing this process, I receive the following error after clicking to generate the SSL:
There has been a critical error on your website. Please check your site admin email inbox for instructions.
WHen I go to my admin email, I received no message (as of yet, this was only 5 minutes ago). The site still loads correctly, and I am also able to access wp backend.
Do you have an idea what might be happening? It could be that I do not have www and non www enabled.. i am not sure?
How did you resolve this?
