  • I was experiencing problems trying to see changes after editing style.css and my sidebar was showing at the bottom as well. I just refreshed the page and Viola! everything was ok. Try refreshing the page to see it that helps you as well.

    I did it two ways:
    1. I created a header in MS Publisher that consist of just my logo. My logo contains text and an image. It looks something like this. (Example: Pole Mas??ter Fit) MS Publisher automatically saved my file with a white background although I select no background. Perhaps white is just the default for all things created in publisher. I saved it as a .jpeg file and uploaded as a header logo image. It appears with the white background on my site.

    2. I took the same header that I created in MS Publisher and I made the background transparent in Corel Photoshop, saved it as a .gif file and uploaded as a header logo image. It is still appearing on my site with a white background.

I hope that I provide what you were requesting. I appreciate any help with this matter. Perhaps I need a CSS code for the header logo background to make it transparent. Does anyone have a code to make header logo background transparent?

Thank you. I’m new to WordPress so I have been watching youtube vids to learn how to set everything up. The information you provided lead me in the right direction. I recall receiving and email from my hosting company regarding uploads to the FTP. I think I should be good to go now. Thanks again.
