Hi Renee,

To be clear, what I am doing is duplicating an entire story, then changing out images and text to fit my ‘new’ story. So to answer your questions:

1. The image missing description error is what I see in the checklist, and it shows for all media that require it, even if they have it – on stories that have been duplicated.

2. Yes. When I save a draft of the story they still appear. The only way to get rid of the error is to copy the assistive text. Erase it. Click out of that window, then back into it and paste the assistive text back in.

3. I am not adding the image back in – I am seeing the issue with already places images. However I am not duplicating a page – I am duplicating an entire story. (Which is my work around to not being able to make and save my own templates!)

Oh ok. Sorry – that is what I meant to type was 1440 x 1920.

It seems like there are glitches with the errors regardless with this new update. For instance – if I have an image that has alt text it will say that I need to add alt text. If I go in and copy the alt text, delete it, then click out of and back into the window where the type goes and paste it – the error will then disappear.

So I guess i just want to confirm that these errors it says have no implications in terms of google validating this web story – or no other negative implications?

Just had another JSON error while trying to create a new story from a template:

“Unable to Create Story From Template
The response is not a valid JSON response.”

I also cannot save a story I created either. Error is “FAILED TO SAVE STORY.”
