Hi Michael,
Thanks for the dynamic site map information.
RE sitemap headers. To do with cache control – https://varvy.com/pagespeed/cache-control.html
Currently I have a long cache on my pages. By default it includes the site map. The cache system recognizes headers as a priority. So if the header had a lower expiry date manually set then it would clear the cache early without having to do it manually.
Congrats again!
Hi Greg
Thanks for the reply. Hmmm. I understand where you are coming from, however having these “features” activated by default when upgrading is quite “intrusive”.
However, I did follow your instructions and the “badge” is gone.
However, I now have a set of hover sharing icons that were never there before the upgrade … I’ve deselect all the options for them to be appearing, but nothing is working etc cleared cache etc. Again, the option to have them was never selected over the years I’ve used your plugin. Not sure why they’d “suddenly appear” and why they won’t disappear when no option is selected to have them.
I hope this can be resolved. However, these default add a few feature without permission issues might mean it’s time to part ways!

In reply to: [Cloudflare] Is the plugin needed? One last question.
If cloudflare is already activated via the cloudflare site. Is there a need for someone not needing Flexible SSL to have the plugin? Or is using cloudflare via the cloudflare site basically the same?
Thanks

In reply to: [Cloudflare] Is the plugin needed?Hi,
Thanks for the reply. Ok I have a 1x version installed.
There are no settings other than HTTPS Protocol Rewriting selected to on with the plugin however I’m not using https.
I don’t see “Automatic Cache Purge”, “IP Rewrite” on the plugin settings?

In reply to: [EWWW Image Optimizer] Cron JobsA lot meaning it was set to run 2 cron jobs every 5 mins.
There’s nothing physically creating new images. Really like the plugin but I’ve disabled it for now.
I didn’t notice this problem a few updates ago as I went through various cron jobs about 6 months ago to see if anything was eating up CPU. Nothing was and this plugin was enabled back then too.

In reply to: [ZenCache] Can we get an update on v150626?Thanks for the update, appreciate it.
Ok I will try this.
Many thanks for the support!
Thanks.
I actually meant can AIOSEO stop building the site map every time robots are visiting it?
Ok, that makes perfect sense thanks.
I guess the last question to ask is, can this be stopped?
To the best of my knowledge google only wants to be pinged if there’s a change in the content? If there’s no change and it’s being pinged everyday it might disregard future updates.
