Are you using the shortcode or template tag in the sidebar? If you are using the template tag, are you overriding the URL parameter? This looks like your URL string that you are handing to WPSocialite has the wrong formatting. If you look at the screenshot linked below you can see that the code breaks when the data-url is passed.

Take a look at how you are setting the url and see if that is the issue.

    Thanks for using WPSocialite!

I would recommend deactivating WPSocialite and see if it allows you to then comment on IOS. If that is the case, there is a bug. It hasn’t been my experience that WPSocialite will block such a thing, but its better to test it.

Let me know what happens and I’ll continue to debug on my end. Thanks for using WPSocialite!

    E,

Appreciate your kind words. You’re right, I do care! Thats why I try my hardest to make releases as frequent as possible.

I will take a look at the CSS on your site and see if there is a reason its cramming them together.

    As always, appreciate your understanding.

    E,

Sorry for not touching base sooner. Its unfortunately a bug that I found (as you did) after I took stumbleupon out of its “beta” functionality with WPSocialite. Better testing next time.

I’m looking for a solution to the issue along with trying to fix the rest of the forum requested issues/features at the moment, but I (sadly) cannot give you a timeframe. All I can say is WPSocialite is usually updated on weekends when I’m not working on full time clients.

I’ll try to push out a fix ASAP. Appreciate your patience and understanding,

    Pompos,

Can you link me to an example of this happening? I cannot recreate the issue on my end.

Appreciate the feedback, I’ll see if I can incorporate this into the next release.

Glad you are liking the plugin, thanks for using WPSocialite!

    ninetienne,

Got your “any updates” post in my email, but it looks like it didn’t show up here. Very odd.

I’ve created the VK.com like plugin for WPsocialite, but I don’t have an apiID or VK.com account to test it with.

I haven’t updated the application within the WPrepo as of yet. I would like you to test it first. Please download this file and unzip it in your wp-content/plugins directory. Obviously I don’t recommend doing this on a live, production site.

Once installed, navigate to the WPsocialite settings page (WP-Admin>Settings>Discussion). You’ll see the new option for Vkontakte and once checked you will see a space for an apiID. Enter in your apiID and the like button should work.

Please let me know your results and I appreciate your help!

    Glad you love the plugin!

The buttons should not load by themselves. Can you send me the page you are currently using them on so I can troubleshoot?

I see. I’m actually looking at putting an “advanced” section in the settings to allow you to select the exact area where the user has to hover/scroll, rather than set it myself.

Look for that in an update soon and thanks again.

I didn’t realize. I appreciate you keeping me informed on a great social network so I can make sure WPSocialite supports it!

Look for an update this weekend with the added VK plugin.

Appreciate the feedback! You can make the buttons load on hover by heading to Settings>Discussion and scrolling to the WPSocialite Settings. Once there, set the “mode” to hover and your buttons will load on hover.

    Appreciate the support!

The plugin is not set up to support Vkontakte as of yet, but Socialite does come packaged with it. I can easily add it to the plugin and have it ready for the next release this weekend.

Hope this helps, appreciate your patience.

Unfortunately WPSocialite is more for just lazy loading and not adding up all of the sharing boxes.

I may look into this for a future release, but most likely I’d have to wrap this into another plugin. I don’t know if this and WPSocialite would mix.

Apologies b_dark, but I’m unsure of what functionality on that page you are looking for.

Do you mean the share button loads the social buttons once clicked?

Odd, that shouldn’t matter. When you have the page open can you open your browsers console (Firefox or Chrome) and see if there are any errors?

Can you give me more information on the environment? Are you using mac/windows, what browser, what local server environment, etc etc.

Also, do you have any other javascript files that could be causing WPSocialite to throw an error? Try disabling all of your plugins and setting the default theme.

More than likely it is a conflict with the theme or another plugin.
