I found the problem. My WP-Members plugin was interfering so I had to change the settings for that and individualize my post settings for member only posts. Thank you for responding.

The server was correct. Can’t replicate it again as date passed, but will keep on eye on it in the future. Don’t know what went wrong. Thanks.

I too am having trouble with the option to view my site after upgrading. The problem is that if you don’t have your site title in your general settings because you use a special header image, instead of having this site title on your main index page, than it also does not show up on your administration page and you have no way to view your site. This bug needs to be addressed.
