The 5.7.0 error is being thrown by your SMTP service. Check your sending name and email address is valid and does not contain any special or unusual characters (‘, @, *, #, etc)
Please also include your Post SMTP diagnostics log in your next reply.

I do not believe that the changes to the Mailgun API will affect Post SMTP – and it seems time has proven that. ( I hope! ?? )

Amazon SES is possible but only by traditional SMTP, but not API at this time. Unfortunately Better Email Logging is still under development.

That error is being thrown from Amazon SES. You need to check that you have verified the outgoing/sending email or domain in the AWS console. Unfortunately we are not able to provide support with that, you would need to talk to the team at AWS.

Ah, that’s frustrating. Unfortunately Mailgun errors will not show in the Post SMTP email log. Sorry about that.
