I don’t seem to be have much luck with UM.

I’ve changed ‘user=products’ for now and it. When I select ‘user=user’ page, it seems to get stuck in a loop and the page fails to load due to too many redirects.

Now it seems like I’m stuck with a broken ‘logout’ loop. When I click “confirm” to logout, it takes me to a new page that says, “You are attempting to log out of Golden River Electronic
Do you really want to log out?”, then takes me back to ‘My Account” page.

When i deactivate/reactivate or reinstall UM, i seem to inherit the same problems all over again. Is there a way to reinstall fresh? I’m tempted to use another plugin at this point.

When i go to WP Admin > Ultimate Member > Settings > General > Pages, the user page = home.

I then went to WP Admin > Pages, edited the User page and saw the UM shortcode = [ultimatemember form_id=”73″]

I went back and updated user page = user, saved.

Now when I go to https://goldenriverelectronics.com it keeps redirecting me to
https://goldenriverelectronics.com/login/?redirect_to=https%3A%2F%2Fgoldenriverelectronics.com%2F. I can’t figure out where to disable this?

I’ve never been on that page before. It’s currently configured “Action to be taken after registration” = “Redirect to profile”.

Do you know the name of the profile page? I did unpublish a bunch of pages so it may be in draft? I’ve published back a bunch as trial and error, but it’s still the same ‘page not found’ after i register a new user.

Any other tips?

finally got access to our sftp and updated the htaccess file with the below lines, but still no luck?

Am i doing anything wrong or is there another step?

Stupid question… where do I exactly locate and edit the file from the wordpress console? Or some simple instructions to edit otherwise?
