As I saw in change log that you added modifications for Complianz.io compatibility, I do use Complianz.io plugin, with tracking only when cmplz_marketing cookie is set to allow

Even with Cart Stock Reducer limited to 10 minutes on Woocommerce, same issue happened again with same customer with a 3 hours delay between order and payment. After checking with Paypal, this was not an IPN delay but a purchase really made 3 hours later…

QUESTION
Would changing the Woocommerce Session Expiration be a solution to avoid Paypal sending a Payment for an order that has been cancelled?

Any other suggestion would be appreciated too.

OK for Ajax and Countdown
Countdown appears on shop page, on every product page and on cart after refresh.

For pending orders messages.
I do not use standard Woocommerce fields “In stock” and “Out of stock”
So I understand that I have to use “In Stock” and ‘Out of Stock” Woocommerce fields if I want your pending orders texts to appear where I want.

I had imagined that you had your dedicated fields for those messages with some hooks to make them appear on shop and product pages.

When I succeed to get what I want, I will tell you ??

– a late IPN

A late IPN does not seem relevant, as when a Paypal payment is done and IPN is late, the order is “on hold”, it is not cancelled as it was the case here.

I already asked my customer to ask her customer what was the buying process ??

Meanwhile, as it is quite crazy that the I of IPN means “Instant”, instant that can last several hours, I am in the process of moving all my customers to Paypal PDT that seems to be more “instantaneous”.

For this kind of shop with limited products number and no back orders, what would be your advice to avoid “collisions” when there is only one remaining product and 2 customers put it in the cart at the same time?
What will happen after the first one pays?
I am about to install the plugin “WooCommerce Cart Stock Reducer”. Do you think it is a relevant solution?

What I call “private window” is the french translation for “incognito browser”.

I just made the test with an incognito browser, and no more irrelevant cookies.

So from now on, I will administrate websites from incognito browsers.

The process is quite simple and maybe could be added is some help on the Cookies analysis page
– Open the website in an incognito browser
– Accept all cookies
– Navigate to some relevant pages, Woocomerce, articles, etc
– Connect as admin
– Make the cookie analysis

Clearing cookies is already the way I tried to manage this issue.

But “local software cookies” are still found, which is a bit weird.

I suppose that the scan visits the site from the same browser with admin privileges, as for example, I am obliged to activate Admin tracking in Analytics to get Analytics cookies found.

Maybe it would be useful to visit the Website in from a “private browser window”, it may eliminate irrelevant cookies.

The best way to get cookies may be to visit the website from “outside” without admin privileges to eliminate for sure admin cookies and irrelevant cookies.

I was about to buy licences for my clients, because the automatically generated Cookie page is a great feature. But having false positive alerts about new cookies every week is disturbing and gives useless work when you have a lot of websites to handle.
